His sell was 2.5 cr to 3.5 cr in my district per month and when last visit him to show my MI powerbank he was fighting with gionee upper heads to lowerdown price of its cell

The current processor is overclocked to 1.6Ghz when it is stable only at 1.2 Ghz. That is why people are rooting and downgrading the speed to avoid over heating issues and memory leaks.
The handset sold elsewhere (China?) has the true 1.6Ghz stable one processor.
Sorry I don't know the processor names or model codes.

That's an unverified claim that the chipset is 8226 instead of the advertised 8228.
And the maximum clock speed of 8226 is 1.2 GHz but the Indian phone is clocked at 1.6 GHz.

The chipset is indeed 8226. Just checked through quadrant system information
