Xonar D2X owners! Suggestion needed

Hi Guys
I am planning to buy a xonar d2x sound card for my Logitech Z5500. So I am asking you that is it a good combination?
I had also used xonar dx with my Z5500 and its great.
So your opinion need about it.

I think there wont much SQ difference if you will use the Z5500.

Doesn't your motherboard have optical out? Connect ur speakers via toslink.
imho, you dont really need a soundcard if you connect via digital.
