Hey guys..

its simply yawny to get the Ati work properly like nvidia on intrepid.. its same here since i have Studio 15 lappie..

It works all fine, with native reso and everything.. but sometimes its sucky using wobble windows or choppy v-syc screwed up videos.. Tried changing the plugin to X11 in VLC solves the problem, but its not that smooth as it should be.. or rather, than being smooth sometimes there are v-sycn phuque-ups in the videos.

Already have upadted drivers using envyng...

PS: Also the audio is low like hell.. was perfectly loud or rather xplosive loud previously (when i had installed it using Wubi within Windows.. but recently i installed it properly on Ext3 partition on the lappie... installed every updates, etc.. but the audio is low like hell.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, currently am not using 9.1 or so :S..

I used envyng.. and from that this is what i've installed currently..

..what i'll do is i'll uninstall ATI drivers from envyng.. and lez c.. if i can install the drivers from the source u've provided.

1. un-install ATI 9.2 or the drivers installed from repos. . It sucks...
2. Install ATI 9.1 .. Do not install from sh ati<package name>.run..

Generate deb for Ubuntu then install http://www.techenclave.com/open-source/ubuntu-mandriva-packages-ati-9-1-a-127656.html

3. After that activate Restricted Drivers from System -> Administration -> Hardware Driver ;:)
