Yonex Badminton Racquets ...help me buy one !!

posting this here n not in purchase recommendations as its not computer hardware.

i have started playing badminton for sometime now and am planning to buy a good new racquet ... has to be YONEX ...now when i checked their site i was greeted with so many models that i decided to get help from TE.

i dont have any budget for the racqet as such but something under n around 2k should be good i suppose.

btw how much do the most expensive racquets from yonex cost ? the best ones ?

I used to play baddy a lot earlier, still play now and then. I have an entry level Yonex the Carbonex 6000 which i got for 1.1k or shthin a few years back. The webiste wont give you any useful info, for one most of the models wont be available. You have to go to a shop and look for yourself. Dont just go by the price or specs, go to the shop and look around. Get the feel of the racket and buy the one that you feel is good for you. The best ones cost in excess of 5k easily, titanium ones. Unless ur a pro, no use going for those. One more thing, the MRP stated is always high. Ask for a discount and you'll get one without any hassles.
 
Carbonex's are a good start.

There should be models at 2k.

Do check the Titanium series too. But I doub they will fit your budget.
 
Tell you what, the shop is pretty close to my place and i have to go give my racket for re-gutting anyway. Ill check it up tomorrow and let u know.
 
i used to play bedminton too 6-7 years earlier and i used to play it with JJ 3000. i am thinking bout starting playing it again after seeing this thread :P
