Then obviously the perf may increase. But if I remeber correctly Stalkersoftware had unlocked them and 3dmark score diff was Nil actually !!
 
For delhiboy:Is 6600 agp available?If so,where?AFAIK only 6600gt is available and thats atleast 5k more than a 9600.When I say available I mean NP,Delhi not newegg btw. ;)
The 6800 is a good deal for people with existing AGP systems,as I said earlier, IFF it has 3 year warranty.
 
@Aces170: Advise taken, will carry on with my 9600 for now,tho i was never unhappy with it anyways!! Its my CPU thats throttling d card...
@undertaker: Apparently the 6600 AGP is also avlbl, both in XFX & Leadtek.Cost is ~8-8.5k...

If the 6600 plain is 8-8.5k, and the GT for 10.2k,the 6600 makes no sense.The GT holds a 40% performance advantage at the very least.
 
Hmm, what about X600XT v/s 6600GT who wins ?

The 6800 will be fine for me. I am going to change my entire rig after 2 years as my bro will need this one.

By then we will have the 8800 Ultra and a DFI Lanparty with the nForce 6 with 4GB of OCZ DDR3 ! That will be cool ;)
