Hello Friends,

Yesterday I placed order with univercell.in for a handset under 2k & paid via net-banking after creating accounts with them with full details, but I didn't received any sms or mail as confirmation of payment/purchase.

Till today it's never happened with me while online purchase as I always got an sms or email confirmation as soon as I paid for.

Does this happened because yesterday was Saturday & I placed order near by 9.00 PM?

Today- Sunday- I mail them using 2 of their mail id's out of which 1 mail bounced & also their Customer Support Ticket System has some database/script error? :S

What you guys saying about this?
 
Don't waste time over emails, call them up.

Edit:

The payment confirmation mail/SMS delivery is usually automated. In this case, I guess they manually verify the payment and send you an update!?

I don't think so. As I've ordered 2 pair of shoes from bigshoebazaar on sunday, but got email and sms after the payment.

Even I ordered two books from flipkart yesterday after 9PM as like you, but instantly got email and sms confirming the payment and order number.

Call them up tomorrow early morning(guess they are off for today as today is sunday) and verify.

Yes. You will receive a call from our executive once the order is confirmed. If you have provided your email id you will also receive a confirmation via email, which you can print for your reference.

As I paid doesn't this means order is confirmed?
 
I also ordered a nokia c1 sometime before. they are lazy but will get the order through don't worry. even I didn't receive any email I think, but received a phone call confirming order details.

Yes they don't have automated system or prefer manual checking so take long time compare to others for confirmations.

I received a phone call from Executive confirming order & after 30-40 minutes an mail contents Order & Payment Details. Now waiting for Handset :)

Got it on Wednesday through Aramex- nice packing. It's Micromax X114 - Dual Sim/standby, torch, fm, 2gb card (not included), 1000mAh battery. FM reception is VERY VERY GOOD, CLEAR & LOUD than Nokia 5130 express music phone.

Damage Rs.1432/- includes shipping + insurance + vat charges.
