Should add that Z's ploy with the minerals deal is to trap the US into providing a security guarantee.

Z wants some military enforcement atleast from his perspective while Trump says US presence would be a security guarantee enough both needs to find common ground in this.

In simple terms, Z wants regional geo-political level security for his country, well vetted arranged resources sharing is a compromise.
DTrump just want to extract UA's resources without any conditions, security is an after thought, once required resources accumulated UA will be again in trouble. Basically, DTrump's offer is mere hafta vasuli.

Not going to be easy considering Z words for him and Trump isn't one to take such words without action considering he's instead lessening pressure on russians let's see on how it plays out from here on after this disastrous meeting.

Yep and JD Vance even brought that to his face while they were arguing about it and tbh there would have been a deal everything was set and ready with binders to the podiums but it was also probably because of how easy it was for Z to get support like he has from the Eu and Biden administration he thought he could get a leverage over the deal which was a bad idea considering Trump's background.

That's not really campaigning. Howdy Modi also happened just before US elections (Sep 19) and was an actual rally with Trump, while this was just a plant visit, you will also have to classify that as foreign interference then.
