Your Gaming Backlog/Progress Report!

I'm talking about retail disc releases. Digital downloads don't appear as early as the retail ones do.

Nah man AAA titles usually show up as digital preorders on all platforms, I preordered, preloaded Resident Evil 6 off PSN, Assassin's Creed 3 etc.

Anyways, playing Mass Effect 3. Have kept myself spoiler free for the past year, but not playing for platinum. Too much effort required.

Let me ask you this, how early can you pre-load your digital copy? 1 week? 2 week? Retail copies have a much higher chances of breaking street release dates, by as much as a month in advance.

Adding Bioshock Infinite to the list! Will start the title today evening. :woot:

That bad?

TBH mate the title got me bored after a few hours of game-play. Maybe it's because of the all rinse and repeat sniping premise or maybe it was the overall lack-luster level design. Also, the textures in this game are downright bad. The walls, the water, the environmental terrain everything looks so dumbed down. When you have played games like Tomb Raider, Dead Space 3 in the past this aspect just hits you more.

For the 3-4 levels that I played the game never once gave me the option to chose different sniper rifles, nor was I able to upgrade my rifle in any way. The last all-sniping premised game that I played was Sniper Elite V2 and I loved playing through that but this was just not able to immerse me at all sadly.

I enjoyed the first title. I was expecting an almost similar, if not better, experience with this one too. Looks like City Interactive messed up big time. Moreover, I feel they should have stuck with Crome Engine 4, instead of adopting Crytek's engine. Their poor use of this engine is pretty much evident from the lackluster graphics in this game.

Anyway, completed Gears of Bore Judgement and Aftermath too. Might start BioShock Infinite.

Completed Sniper:Ghost Warrior 2,Crysis 3 and Tombraider in back to back sessions. This TR is a class apart from the sexed up Tombraidero of old.

Liked it a lot even more than Far Cry 3 which arguably is the better in terms of gameplay but not as good in terms of character progression.
(Seriously WTH was that ending where you get sacrificed in FC3???)

Started Bioshock Infinite but couldn't concentrate long enough which is a bit shocking to me.Seems like I might be losing my appetite for gaming.Have to see a shrink if this happens.
I left off at the part where I have to battle Slate. The save system seems to be a bit crappy to me.

I remember being blown off my feet when I completed both of the Bioshocks in continued sessions.I harvested the first little sister in Bioshock 2 and the process was so heart rending that it almost became a personal crusade to set them free.I don't feel the same compulsion here but will give a go at it again after I return home at the end of two weeks
