Hi,

Needed opinions, since most of us do regularly use cells phone/mobile, creating this poll to check which phone you think is most reliable/stable and works as desired

Thank you for your time

On what basis are you comparing? Of course a nokia s40 phone will be more stable than say, a sony winMo phone.

the most reliable phone i've ever used was my nokia 3220 bought in year 2006... :ohyeah:

no problems whatsoever like hanging issue, slow processing speed etc..

anyways nice poll man..

repped..

Nokia for me!

1st phone I had was Nokia 6670 and it was stable as hell!!

Used to run a weekly maintenance on it(deleting cache, useless data(pics, files, messages, uninstalling useless stuff))

and it didn't let me down, ever!

Now I'm on a Nokia N78! Not as stable as the 6670, but the feature-richness sure compensates for the slight in-stability! :ashamed:

btw 'instability' of a phone can depend on the additional software installed that might run with phone startup and cause it to slowdown/hang/crash!

I'm sure, phones with no 3rd party software installed will run more-stable as compared to the ones loaded with 3rd party apps!

Thanks for your inputs,

My first phone was a Motorola C350, I did not what hangs was at that time, it was rock stable, never had any problems, then I bought Motorola F7, lol, no questioning of hangs in that phone, then ugraded to Nokia 3310 another rock stable phone, unfortunately it was very old and the battery used to drain out, then I another splurge and got ASUS P320 used it for hardly sometime and upgraded to ASUS P527 used it for approx 8-9 months before finding it to slow for my liking, when and bought a Nokia E63, the change from Touchscreen to QWERTY was welcome, but unfortunately my expierence with that phone was not a good one, because of the dreaded Home/Menu bug. This thread will help people who need a stable phone more than anything else.

Nokia 1100

Brought it 4years ago and it still works perfectly. I have abused this phone lot(dropping it several times) and used to talk overnight at 7-8hours at a stretch. and it still works. Using it as backup, incase my nokia 5800 goes kaput.

Heck of a phone!:P

Well I loved all my Nokia`s.

Still have some space for them even though my DAD thinks that I am planning to keep my collections for his grandson`s antique collection.

Nokia 7650 [Love it even though its dead now]

Nokia 9500 [Thought of selling it earlier but since its from my first income so many emotions are attached]:hap2:

Nokia 1100 [Don`t know if it was made for India or not but definately it was meant for ppl like me]

Nokia 8800 [Still love this masterpeice]

and last but not least

Apple iphone which I am currently using [never liked apple before having this masterpeice]:bleh:

I forget to tell you abt another masterpeice

Nokia 5190 [managed to get it from a labour ,Gave him a Motorola C165 in exchange for that}

Sony Ericson D750i/K750i

dropped it in the river, fell into a drain with the phone, Dropped it from 15 feet, dropped it almost every other day and still it went on strong!

iPhone - I know a friend who dropped one form a running bike at 60Kmph, skidded on the road, then landed on the side and still worked perfect without any breakage, just scratches.

Then there was a friend who dropped one while removing from pocket and broke the glass screen. (It was 2G, seedha 5-6K ka phatka)

Nokia isn't exactly bullet proof, especially the newer models I've had nokia 5610's from 3 of my friends dying over various issues. Even my low end 1202 has gone for RMA following constant reboots.

My friend's 3310!

We used to play football with it and we'd play this game where we'd drop it down the stairs and see who gets it first, really.

samsung for me.
m using omnia hd. last days when i went to iitf. while clicking pics from the camers. the phn was somehow mishandeled by me. and was dropped down with a force. and to my surprise othing happened to the phone.
though i catched the phone before it reached the ground. :P hehehehe.
the build quality of the phone is sturdy and good.

my last phone was n85 which wasnt that good quality wise. the slider seemed like flickering everytime.
prior to it. i had SEw580i. the phone went good for 7-8 months. after that. it started giving me heck lot of problems. Charging port went kaput. the diplay went kaput 3-4 times. had to get it replaced everytime for rs1200. to my luck, the first wo times it was in warranty.
ealier i had nokia 1100, ngage. they never gave me any problems.

*typos* expected. dont shout upon me for that. typing from the phone :P
