Introduction
When we think of the name Zalman, the first things that come to our mind are great performing CPU coolers, but from the last couple of years Zalman has been expanding their computer product line portfolios even further. This includes anything from CPU coolers to video cards and just about everything in between, including computer chassis. Today we are taking a look at another product from Zalman, as we review the Zalman Hd7870 turbo later which you can find here. The Zalman MS800 Plus case is one of Zalman’s High Performance Mid Tower gaming cases. The Zalman MS800 Plus has a splendid external design, which is both appealing and powerful to view. Zalman is always producing well performing products over some past years, and the Zalman MS800 and its brother the MS800 Plus fit nicely into that category. The Zalman MS800 Plus mid tower gaming chassis is packed with two 120mm fans from one which is Blue led and other is non-led and an open top aerodynamic ventilation method.

First Looks and Impression
My first impressions of the Zalman MS800 Plus were good, I was instantly visually satisfied with the very cool,Simple design and shape of the case.
The packaging that Zalman is used for this particular chassis is a black box with glossy looks. We get an image of a box with listed some unique features of MS800 Plus chassis.
The Bundle
This is the small parts bag that Zalman included with the MS800 Plus. Zalman uses a top locking zip-lock bag instead of the traditional zip-lock bag. What we should get with the bag of accessories are:-

Exterior
This is what the Zalman Ms800 Plus chassis looks like from the front. This chassis has Seven 5.25†drive bays available for us to place CD/DVD/BLUE RAY drives and/or peripherals.
The left side of the MS800 Plus supports the sliding door, fixed on by thumb screws, we see that large open transparent Panel window.
The right side of the case has also got a removable door to get to the large CPU cut out area. This door is the same as the left.
The top of the Zalman MS800 plus at the I/O panel area, we find 4 x USB ports with 2x usb2.0 and 2x USB 3.0 ports, the reset button and the Power Button with blue led, with the inline audio and output audio ports. Along with this Zalman MS800 Plus Provides fan controller that can control up to 6 fans.
The front seven odd bays have a mesh ventilation structure that maximizes the air flow that keeps the head/Odd and system cool.
Moving to back MS800 plus has 120mm exhaust fan support along with two water-cooling outlets .
Last of all for the externals of the MS800 Plus is the bottom of the case. Here we see boldly in sight is some more ventilation for exhausting that hot air in another direction, however this time it is covered by a dust cover.
Interior
The back of the Zalman MS800 plus has 120mm matt white fan, 2 rubber guarded apertures for water cooling outlets, it has 7 expansion slots and to help vent the hot air from the GPU’s a rectangular honey comb mesh has been cut out beside them.
Moving up to the top of the case is a cool ventilated area, these open top panels are made of plastic and are slightly transparent, to let any sort of internal LED lighting shines through and make your Zalman MS800 plus stand out. As you can see, there is a honeycomb aluminium mesh (cut out from the single unit of the case) that is capable of housing larger water cooling radiators.
Zalman makes sure the CPU cut out is large enough(135mmx195mm) for this chassis to accommodate a multitude of different motherboard CPU configurations,are. Zalman also installed 4 of the motherboard standoffs around the CPU cutout.
Looking at the included upper 120mm blue led exhaust fan, the MS800 Plus chassis can accommodate either a 120mm or a 140mm fan. Then right directly in front of the 120mm exhaust fan we can install another 120/140mm for more ventilation inside of the chassis.
The internal dimensions of the MS800 plus chassis can support for extra long gaming GPU’s as the case can manage up to 300mm graphics cards.
Dust filters on the bottom and front prevent dust from entering the case .
All detachable bays come with one touch tool-free ODD bay for easy and quick installation.
Zalman MS800 Plus Supports HDD Hot Swap bay for easy installation even during the operation. This hot swap bay can handle up to 3 hard drives at a time .
Zalman Ms800 plus comes with Luxurious interior of black coating finishing touch and 4 Cable hole provided for efficient use of the space and cable management.
At the bottom of the Zalman MS800 plus Anti-vibration & Noise Absorption Rubber helps the PSU to eliminate vibration sound.
Zalman Ms800 plus also Include a multi guide provided to prevent VGA card from bending and for installation for additional fans.

Final Thoughts
All in all the internal and external design and layout was great for the Zalman ZMS800 Plus Mid-Tower Gaming Case. The case HDD Hot Swap support makes this case a unique system enclosure. Zalman has the HDD exhaust vents incorporated into the MS800 plus chassis, it should help keep our HDDs much cooler during their times of heavy usage.
The HDD hot swap at the bottom makes the cable management a bit more complicated. Also i recomend to first remove the Vf multi guide before installing hardware as it make the installation difficult.
The price of the Zalman MS800 Plus is $100 USD. The Zalman ZMS800 Plus chassis is a well built, stylish, affordable chassis that can fit just about anyone’s budget or computing needs.
