Graphic Cards Zebronics 6600 GT 256MB : Worth it ?

I would make sure that the pipes are unlockable in the LE. If u cant unlock the pipes, you would even get 70% of the performance of the 6600GT from the LE. Also rmr that its a gainward overclocked out of the box 6600GT with core at 550 and RAM at 1200. So it'll be atleast 10-15% faster than the 6600GT scores you're seeing around the place. Plus I'd trust gainward build quality much more than zebronics for sure :P

Also the newer 6800, 6800LE cards are based on the NV41A not NV40 so the max u can unlock is 12x5 not 16x6.

NV41A?
I dont think there are any 6800/6800le cards on these cores yet. NV41 yes current PCIE versions of 6800 and 6800LE are on these cores but all most all the AGP versions are still NV40

OK I am fairly into OC'ing and hardware but somehow I have never come across the term 'Unlocking pixel pipelines'.

Well anyways I will definately OC the GPU when I buy it and I don't have any problems unlocking pipelines too, but this is getting really confusing.

On one hand you have the 6800 chipset with a not so well known company but the other side is the 6600GT with a very well known company.

If someone could elaborate on how pipeline unlocking is done it would be great. Also as someone rightly said, the 256-bit memory interface will definately help at higher resolutions.

Hmmm....Unlocking pipes can be done using Rivatuner.....its called soft modding. ;)
Also evga is a fairly good company overseas for cheap nd reliable products than others.
nd yes the the 256bit helps in higher resolutions....but did u check out those reviews....doesnt look like there's much diff in those two cards......nd if u cant unlock ur card then thr's even a performance drop compared to 6600gt.

Again me voting for 6600gt ;)

i vote for 6600 gt or whiplasher's 6800 NU, coz he says he has successfuly unlocked all the pipes... the zebronics is a definte no no...

I will ask the company before buying if I can unlock the pipes :ohyeah:

As if they will answer :hap5:

So you guys think that the Gainward 6600GT 128MB GLH (Goes Like Hell - The sales rep told me this) is worth it huh ?

Ok, any way to test if pipes are unlockable before buying ???

The 6800LE will be great at 12x5 with the 256-bit memory :D

Gainward cards are very good in quality. I wud prefer the 6600GT from Gainward over the Zebronics 6800LE. Perhaps i wud have considered giving Zebronics a thought if it were the 6800nu, but from my past experience (with 5700LE) i wud stay away from LE.

PS: says Masky can vouch for him....

Yes, I vouch for him! I have bought things from him before and wud buy from him again :)

Yup it is pretty good but I don't think I want to buy from an individual. I can't run to the US for warranty either.

Anyways, big change. the card is LEADTEK WINFAST 6800LE 128MB

not Zebronics. Specs are as folows :

128MB 256-bit memory interface.
8 pixel pipelines (more unlockable, hopefully)
Vertex and Pixel Shader 3.0

All this for 14k.

Now what do you guys say :hap2:

Hm... that card is around 235$ at newegg. Comes with POP: SOT and Splinter Cell. Not a bad deal!

Absolutely right. It comes with these two games, I think it is a great deal as it comes with a 3-year warranty.
