I found out that zebronics Bijli Cabby is the most VFM and a very popular cabinet among people with Budget constraints

I found out mixed responses about the cabby

Some praised about its -
1. Cheap Price
2. Stock Fans provided with it (3fans- 120mm ,2 80mms with LEDs)
3. Decent looking
4. Good air flow

While others complained about -
1. Build quality
2. Sharp Edges
3. Slow fans

I think that sharp edges and build quality dont matter.

As far as slow fan is concerned a fan is a fan and is million times better than
the CM ELITE budget series which provides only 1 fan

So after a lot of thinking i planned to get Zebronics Bijli bcoz of budget constraints

I planned the following rig
which
Will be used for 5-6 years without any up gradation

Core i5 i750 2.66GHz @ 9.5k
Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 @ 6.7k
Transcend/Kingston/Zion 4GB (2GBx2) DDR3 1333MHz RAM @ 4.5-5k

Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB @ 4k
LG 22x DVD @ 1.1k

BenQ 24" G2420 FULL HD LCD Monitor @ 11.3k

Sapphire HD5770 1GB GDDR5 @ 9.8k

Zebronics Bijli @ 1.5K
Suggest a PSU??? @ 2-2.5k

Gigabyte GM6800 Laser Mouse @ 0.75k
Multimedia Keyboard @ 0.4k

Will there be any issues such as the
1. uATX motherboard not fitting
2. PSU not fitting
3. GFX card not fitting
4. Cluttering wires

i-5 rig + HD5770 in a Bijili :P Yeah it is pretty decent for low, mid end rigs. Try to get some gigbyte cabbies for 1.5-1.6k. For the PSU the Gigabyte Superb460w~2.2-2.3k is the best bet for 2.5k budget

the old bijli was a little better than the current bijli.

abt fan,

1 x120mm LED fan... amigo fan that is available at lammy for 100-120 is better that this one.

2x 80mm fan, that we get free with most budget cabinet... cost 50each...worth 25 each.

Con:-

No 2nd side-panel - means less scope for cable management behind motherboard tray. Only cable management possible is by hiding cables behind HDD bay...that is, after removing the front panel.

(another downside in newer bijli is that there is no possibility to mount 120mm fan at the rear)

Pro:

Perforated Front-panel to allow more air-flow.

My Opinion:

Bijli surely makes a good overall budget cabinet, but not the best.

The cabinet is wide enough to fit a full sized cooler.(can fit sccf easily after removing the 2x 80mm fan on the side panel.)

the cabinet is wide enough to mouse most mainstream and also some enthusiast cards (the hdd bay is positioned that longer cards could be installed).

Finally, if you are not buying a psu that does not have kilometers of cables to be managed and if your machine does not house plethora of hdds then bijli still makes for one of the best budget cabinets.

i just check the queries you have put n the end of your post.

1. uATX boards can fit, Full ATX boards can fit.

2. I'm able to fit vx450, cant comment about higher sized psu. (i would probably buy/uild better cabinet if i had budget for higher psu :P)

3. No issue about gpu as i already mentioned.

4. Yes, serious time wastage incase if you really want to avoid clutter in this case.

No No tho i own a Bijli myself i wont recommend it anymore. Newer models are built with flimsy material and have 90mm rare exhaust.....the fans are not of good quality either. Earlier bijli offered excellent vfm but not anymore.

Go for cm elite 335/310 or something. Even some gigabyte offerings are pretty good.

I think that sharp edges and build quality dont matter. (Y not build quality does matter...you ll learn it when u will find trouble installing graphic cards and fixing motherboards, the back side of the bijli can bend easily)

U missed out that cable management is bad in zebby bijli. You are shelling out this much on other components get a decent cabinet

a gigabyte 460w and gigabyte cabinet dont remember model no. or thermaltake wings R, take a note on these two.

I had a similar opinion at one point, used the Zebronics Peace for a while and I realized how pathetic its build quality was only after I switched to CM690. Its side panel folds like cardboard and now given that Peace was one of Zebronics' high end cabinets, one can only imagine how miserable the build quality of Bijli would be.

The periphery is very poor to effectively manage cables. It can be done, but just does not cut in. This way the fans are rendered less than useless* with their already low cfm. Since you've discredited the whole "build quality" as a negligible aspect, I'll assume you've never seen an Antec or Cooler Master Cabinet in person. Just so you get an idea; the weight of my power supply caused the fulcrum at its screws to bend downwards resulting in vibrations. I was certain that the metal would tear and cause my power supply to collapse on my processor heatsink. Other than that, I also had a tough time screwing in the motherboard seating screws, some of the holes were oversized and some were undersized and some of them were missing altogether, making me wonder if Zebronics even followed the atx standard.

The config you planned on is wonderful, a Bijli isn't going to do justice to that hardware, especially if you plan on using it on a long run like you said. Maybe you should reconsider after you've checked the cabinets in a store. Like previously said, you should take a look at those low end Gigabyte cabinets.

* : This applies to the stock Cooler Master cabinet fans too, though. =p

You can also check Circle 814 it comes for Rs. 1400-1500 without PSU.

Circle 814 is better in terms of build quality of Zebronics Bijli. No sharp edges as found in Zebronics Bijli.

Cheaper than CM310 but costlier than Zebronics Bijli (without SMPS)

Circle 814 has 120 mm and 80 MM Fan. I personally saw Circle 814 and like it but not the color combination Silver/Black.

Check http://www.entercircle.com/ for more update

if you need high resolution pictures of Circle Cabinets please email to Mr. "Sanjeev Kumar" <sanjeev.kumar@entercircle.com> He send me some pictures.

U can also look for zebby antibiotic> new Red.

comes with a 120mm and 80mm LED fans on side panel.

U can attach another 120mm on rear, 140mm on front, and 80mm on top blowhole.

price without PSU is 1.8k. IS tool free, decent build quality and weighs about 6.5KG, anodised alluminium interiors, fron LCD display [with backlight] with a temperature sensor, front LCD fan controlling. Lot better than gigabyte/CM budget cabbys.

4. Cluttering wires

I have bijli
1)it will fit
2)psu will also fit
3)gfx card will fit
4)yes ...cluttering is the real problem

Guys, why not invest a bit more and get CM Elite 335

Its really decent built with front and rear 120mm, front mesh, tool-less design, practical HDD slots (can support longer gfx cards) and it can even house the monster CM Hyper 212 plus

and above all, looks good :D

I am using the Zebby antibiotic, with a 4870 and TRU cooler. Both fits easily. It can handle card which is about 2 inch more than a 4870 max. That is cards upto 5850 shud be easy, but 5870 is about 1.8" longer than 4870, so it wud be almost a tight fit. And is shud fit PSUs upto 750~800W easily. Anythin above, the PSU is much longer and interfere with the top blowhole fan.

new bijli las lost most of the build quality than the older one. The new one only about 4KG weight now :(

Sheesh, get the CM Elite cabby already!

Why fret over a cabby that won't serve your purpose well, more so when you have a good rig to house?
