Zee sports to be renamed as Ten Action !!
Indian cable and satellite broadcaster Zee has acquired the rights for Spanish football’s La Liga and this year’s Asian Games as part of plans to boost the satellite distribution of its struggling Zee Sports channel.
The channel is also to be rebranded as Ten Action, as Zee looks to capitalise on the successful Ten Sports brand. Zee extended its shareholding in Ten Sports from 50 per cent to 95 per cent earlier this year.

Zee Sports, which shows primarily Indian domestic football and overspill from the Ten Sports channel, has been unable to get carriage on the Tata-Sky direct-to-home platform, India’s third largest with just over five million subscribers. It is hoped the rebranding and new content will help change that.

So this means that now we will have TEN SPORTS, TEN CRICKET AND TEN ACTION :ohyeah:

I like ten action tbh, would be more of a football action with la liga..
 
Lol three Ten channels, neic for them i guess :P I only watch it for the occasional soccer and cricket (and very rare wwe sometimes :P )
 
Ten sports is zee property now..

And i guess zee sports was started by zee so they can broadcast cricket matches.But later bcci put constraints like you have to be in field for 2-5 years something to do so.So they lost.

So they got ten sports.

Slowly they are consolidating it and i guess more cricket action will come on it.

They wont merge it as star itself is demerging cricket on star cricket other events on star sports and espn.

So now zee to ten

Well u can watch it online on streams, but that will only happens when the matches actually start.. so basically u have to wait for the matches to begin and then just google the streams for the match ur looking for.. also u will be needing a good net connection for fast seamless streaming...
 
Hope this name change results in this channel being carried by Tatasky DTH.

It sucks not being able to watch La Liga and all of Champions League :(
 
Oh so this explains those promos that I keep seeing of Ten Action with football videos to the beats of Ozzy Osbourne ... :D
