Graphic Cards zotac 9800gt eco bought by mistake

If check some reviews, you'll see that the 9800GT ECO or green versions can be easily oCed to at least 700MHz core and more than default shader speeds of the non-eco cards.

And the performance difference between the ECO and non-ECo is barely anything.

^^ Can any1 throw some more light here.

When I googled, I found that this eco edition could not be oCed coz mainly it lacks power connector, n oCing may require extra power. Also, normal edition wud easily OC to 750-770mhz.

Also, I found that the last ones moddable were the G80 series with the 8800GTS/GTX/Ultra 640/768 versions. Anything above the G92 (8800GT/8800GTS 512mb, 9800GT/9800GTX 512mb) and the new GTX200 series are not soft-moddable because they are laser locked.

So any of these cards (G80) can come near to 9800gt performance wise? And are they available, if yes, at what price?

My second last option would be to go with Palit 9800GT 512 and last option to go with Palit GTS250 (since my priority is soft-modding n not gaming).

go for GTX 260 Sonic it's 1.5k more expensive but it's worth every penny.
