I suggest you confirm cause ZOTAC sells three versions of the 9600GT

9600GT

9600GT AMP !! Edition

9600GT ZONE!! Edition



The AMP !! edition and ZONE edition the cost more and are clocked higher than reference ....

So what u getting is the 9600GT vanilla with stock clocks ..so Palit makes more sense since it has a better cooler ...that means u can OC it higher.
 
The Zotak standard edition comes with a factory overclocked core at 675MHz while the Palit one comes at 650MHz core.
The AMP and Zone Edition are significantly overclocked.

And Zotak standard edition is highly overclockable similar to the Palit one coz of the lower thermal envelope of 9600GT.:)

After that AMARBIR quoted 6.1k for Zotac .. so i am assuming TechShopGuy shoulg be able to sell palit for 6.1k
 
Zotak overclocks to 757/1909/2108 MHz, don't know about the Palit one yet! Any body about the Palit?
And a good cooler doesn't necessarily mean higher overclocking. I still remember my last 8600GT and it overclocked like hell with what's supposed to be a reference cooler only. The memory used and the components used matters as well since overclocking stresses everything in the card :)
 
I wanna ask abt one thing?

Is it ok to get it shipped, i mean risk of damaging it is more.

Also if anything goes wrong (which it shudnt, but still) Where do we go for replacement?

Serious concerns?

and r u going for zotac via amirbir or techshop?
 
Hey, I am getting the 9600GT from Amarbir. The Zotak One.:)

It's completely safe with shipping graphics cards. They are packed properly and moreover our dealers pack it good and there is very minimal chance of damage.

And even if something happens while shipping there is DOA warranty.
Also, if the card does not work as such, u can have it replaced by the service centre since no dealer entertains RMA through himself anyway.:no:

Be assured yaar. Talk to Amarbir or KMD or any other dealer and u can clarify all shipping doubts:D
