Hi friends,
As of writing this post, its been a week since I got my BSNL broadband connection.
I had asked for a wifi dsl modem, but there was no stock and they provided me with the ZTE ZXDSL 831AII DSL Modem.
When I first opened up the modem page, I was sorely disappointed to see very limited options. I had opened up http://192.168.1.1/home.html and this is what I saw.

[BREAK=Teh Secret]
After an hour of googling, I came upon a forum post wherein a member mentioned that this modem had a secret page which had lots more options than the usual home.html.
And the page is?
http://192.168.1.1/home1.html :bleh:

A lot of options "unlocked" for tweak-a-gasm!
My immediate need was to enable port fowarding so that uTorrent could work without upload hiccups. This was very important, because, otherwise my ratio would go for a toss in all those strict utorrent sites.
[BREAK=Port Forwarding]
I was able to enable port fowarding by going to the Advanced Security page and then clicking on the port forwarding tab.

Adding a new entry here is very straight forward and I can explain in detail if required.
I know this is a very short guide, but time doesn't permit me to be as verbose as before.....
What is important is that Google indexes this guide and helps people out there who have this modem realize the full potential this modem has to offer.
Happy tweaking! :hap2:
