    Thank you for the valuable suggestions. @naveen58 What difference do you see between the AMD PII X2 550BE + Biostar/Gigagyte 785 VS. Intel Core2Duo E7500 + Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L To the AMD path looks a tad more flexible in the sense if there is a need to upgrade in the proc in the future.
