Mass Effect 3 - Discussion Thread

i have already clocked 15 hrs.how much more is remaining? Though i would certainly add that some missions have wonderful locations.My effective military strength is still in 1600's.

Guys, I played some mulitplayer the other day, my readiness rating went up by 5% to 55%, but its has started decreasing, its now down to 53%?!...why did this happen?!

This is normal , I play almost daily and reach 100% and then it came down to 99% same day and if I don't play for some more days it further goes down to 94- 96%.

btw what is your bioware id?

Thanks for clarifying, its 'noob_jasku' or 'jasku_noob', please check. I am having GPU issues and hence havent been able to make progress over the holiday period.

I am sitting at 5000+ strength but the readiness percentage is around 70%. I play for one day and it goes up to 80-90% and then leave it for 3-4 days and it drops right down to where it was. Sad to see Bioware resorting to such cheap tactics to force people play their pathetic excuse of a multiplayer.
 
Panic alert - My good old 4870 has started artifacting while watching Spartacus Vengeance, I tried continuing ME3, its was fine, but noticed random spots, so removed the GPU, since then have not been able to use my iGPU, it works fine with the generic win 7 driver, but not with the asus drivers, whenever the computer boots into windows the display goes off, if i boot through safe mode it displays fine, then I had go in and roll back to the generic driver, and again it displays.

Anyways I have ordered a new AMD GPU, in the meanwhile, how do i back up my ME3 through ORigin, simply backing (copy paste) up the game data like Steam will suffice? This is worst case if i have to reinstall windows post new GPU.
 
Just backup your save files located at My Games, BioWare, Mass Effect 3. And you should be fine.

PS: What GPU? Southern Islands?

Saved games, I have taken a back up, its just the games file, cause I dont wanna dload ~15Gb data again. So the ME3 and BF3 under the ORigin games copy should work, right?

Dude, can you please elaborate? I mean, like more than one sentence.

Anderson doesnt get shot? Does he come aboard the citadel? Like what exactly happens there? Also, does sheppard live in all the 3 possible choices or is it only in the renegade (destroy reapers) one?
 
What kind of a pathetic ending was this? Saw IGN and all the endings are useless.

Bloody Bioware. Its all so irritating.

How on earth did Liara end up with Joker on some remote planet while leaving me behind?
And why is he running from blast wave? Where are the other 1000s of ships? Are they supposed to stay on earth now?
These are just the few questions I have.

I mean WTF.
 
Guys i have had enough the effective readiness dosent increase much.It increases at a very low rate.Now since i have got a hint of the endings that all are almost same therefore should i go for all the side missions(few left) or straightway start the final mission.
 
Ok I completed it, and as expected I do not really understand things at end. I hope they clarify things in extended cut as otherwise; its too much guessing game,
