Roger, checked it myself and they seem to have Oscar Miked to some other place.

'Forbidden error' on all three.

i have visited his home just an hour ago.. saw the hard disk cable..
the cable is broad one like the Parallel ATA image but its black in colour

so does that means i will have to change HD as well?

No just use a PATA --> SATA converter if you are tight on budget. Speed will depreciate accordingly.

If you can drive, go for a Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB ~3500/-. Cheerio!

What exactly do u mean by this converter?
Is this some hardware or some kind of software? and how much it will cost?

Intel Core i3 3220 ~7500/-
GIGABYTE-B75M-D3H ~4500/-
Corsair Vengeance 4GB x1 ~1600/- (RAM is dirt-cheap, try to bag as much as possible add another 4GB module down the line)
AMD HD6770 ~6000/-
Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB ~4500/- (a 500GB drive will set you back by approximately ~3500/-)
HP [boxed] optical drive ~1000/-
Corsair CX v2430W ~2700/-
Cooler Master eLite 311 Plus ~2000/- (price may be higher, I am not sure on this count)

Can u name some famous games (latest and old one as well) that will run on this config lag free with gud graphics and some games lag free with not so gud graphic and some which will not run on this(i.e. which will lag)?

And same question for this config as well:

Intel Pentium G620 Processor - 2.6GHz Rs 3,475.00 ( you are saving 4k here)
You can also cutdown on RAM , go for :
Transcend DDR3-1333 DDR3 4 GB PC RAM Rs. 1098 ( you are saving around Rs. 700 here) (Flipkart.com)
For Cabinet consider :
COOLER MASTER Elite 310 1,800.00/ (theitwires.com)- saving aroun Rs.300-400

It is a hardware converter, should set you back by ~200/- -->400/- quid.

Now on gaming both RIG's will play most current generation titles with ease but the latter RIG has serious future shortcomings especially the basic Dual-core Sandy-Bridge based design will be bottle-neck.

Also Transcend RAM is a strict no-no from my side. Best get Corsair ValueRAM modules over those 4GB sells for ~1200/- (flipkart.com).

Cooler Master eLite 310 lacks all painted interiors, mounts the SMPS on top, no fan in the front. Again for ~500/- you get a lot more than the eLite 310 in the eLite 311 Plus.

What kinds of games do you want to play, I do not play famous games, I prefer RPG, RTS not so much into shooters.

Can u please elaborate on this a bit?

And if i will use converter will i face any difficulty or it will be run as smooth as SATA?

and in games I mostly prefer TPS(hitman) max payne (read it Rockstar games) , FPS(CS/COD), FIFA seires (love 2007 one ), NBA2K, Virtua Tennis, Assasin Creed III (will be luking for it) and list continues

The Intel Pentium G-series processors biggest issue is lack of hyper-threading and cache memory. Both of which will show shortcomings in future gaming titles.

The speeds will be slower than SATA that is for sure. But apart from that no other issues.

Most of these games will be playable by both RIG's on medium eye-candy. Though the Core i3 will fare better in the future years.

If you can couple the processor with an AMD HD6850 ~8500/- OR HD7770 GHz ~9500/- you should be covered for the next 2 years gaming in medium, low-settings dependent on your screen resolution and detailing in games. Cheerio!

Dont think that wud be possible for me. But if i wud go with AMD HD6770 ~6000/- how much time will it cover properly?

A year easily, later might end up struggling.

Get this configuration --
Intel Core i3 2120 ~6500/-
GIGABYTE-B75M-D3H ~4500/- OR Intel DH61WW ~3000/- (I think this one has a PATA port, so no need of a converter either)
Corsair ValueRAM 4GB x1 ~1200/-
AMD HD6850 1GB ~8500/-
Cooler Master eLite 311 Plus ~2200/-
Corsair CX v2430W ~2700/-

All this will be bottle-necked by the PATA drive but there isn't much that we can do about the same. So bad luck on that count.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

can someone provide me a template in 20k

Corsair CX v2430W ~2700/-
[the jerry-rig PATA -->SATA adapater] ~300/-

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

Cooler master and optical drive is not included in it.

btw how the two motherboard differ from each other? Will spending 1500 more by getting Gigabyte against Intel worth?

Definitely, the GIGABYTE motherboard is a better buy, features SATA III ports, USB 3.0 at front (via internal header) and rear I / O panel. Has an HDMI and DVI out and a few other perks like an SP-DIF audio-out 7.1 speaker support.

Also on street expect the prices of the above board to be a lot lesser.

HP [boxed] optical drive for ~1000/-.

I thought you were buying the cabinet from your friend, else the Cooler Master eLite 311 Plus retails ~2200/-.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

Yeah i will be getting cabinet from him but his DVD ROM is not working so i will have to buy it as well. And can i use his cooler master?

And as u said GIGAbyte motherboard has a USB 3.0 at front but as the cabinet is too old it doesnt have any opening in front. So does that i mean i wud not be able to use it or i can make a opening ?

Yes, you will not be able to use USB 3.0 ports from the front but the ones on the rear I / O panel are always there, so you are covered. If you want to use the front ports (via internal header) then you will need to do some jugaad and basic D.I.Y.

Okay then purchase the HP optical drive as I mentioned. Cheerio!
