When the buyer has informed the seller on phone, why is the Seller choosing to remain silent ?
Another Robert Vadra ?
Expects others to bat for him ?
 
What are the mods up to ????????

Can the mods do some thing on this ,why do people give cash just like that to some one who dont know,there are better places to find good products in ebay we get the same nexus new for 20k with warranty why would some one cheat like this.

I have sent the photos of the parcel and it's box to the OP and he messaged me early morning that It was not the packaging which he did on the parcel saying that those DTDC guys have changed the complete packaging. If the OP is right so it means that DTDC guys have took the mobile out of the package and changed it's packaging? ehh? Is it possible?

I did not get any plastic bag with the shipment, it comes in a simple box with a bubble wrap under the brown cover that's it.

There is no octroi in my city.

Also while tracking on DTDC website it only show Service Type as LITE-EXPRESS SERVICE.

I did not get any receipt from the DTDC guy.

Now about taking the legal actions I am thinking that I might go this way only after I tried everything. My real uncle is an Police Officer So all the Thanas comes under my uncle. He has friends like CSP, DCP, Collector or so I guess going in a legal way will not be a problem for me. Yes I do have his account number.

It is possible because once bluedart manager told me the same that DTDC are thieves and I have faced issues with DTDC in the past.

You can file a FIR for it and if u have contacts like u said then its pretty easy to track down the phone as far as u have the imei # with u, Which I think u already have with u on the box u received.

Do ask the seller for the shipping receipt and the weight mentioned on it.

believe me dtdc are far worst courier you can ever face,I had faced the same problem like you in past,it's simple just go to courier office and ask for receipt and cross check weight,if they refuse to give receipt just file fir....I don't why but I have this strange feeling that op has scam you,because no courtier can change parcel packing....file fir...

The OP said me twice or thrice that you don't have to worry at all. Either you will get your phone or money back.

LITE Express service is a run of the mill service. Gwalior should have DTDC Blue service. DTDC Plus/Blue/PTP all come with tamper proof packaging.

The booking person will note down the Pouch no on the receipt. That way, no one can change the pouches.

Why would anyone use a Lite service for sending a mobile phone?

DTDC Gwalior also have Plus service. I just had words with the DTDC Gwalior guys and he himself said that it's very much possible that the mobile has been taken out somewhere in between stating stealing/theft is very much possible in DTDC and he also said me that sender should have used the DTDC Plus service to send the mobile phones. But I have been informed by the seller that it has been sent through the DTDC Plus only as the first letter of tracking number of DTDC Plus service starts with V and the seller have given me the tracking number which starts with V but after 2-3 days, the OP/sender messaged me another different tracking number which starts with B stating DTDC guys called me now.. they are telling the address on the box is missing, parcel is on hold, they are sending me a scanned copy of new tracking number, it seems they tried calling you. But I did not receive any calls from DTDC and not even missed calls from any unknown number. I am still unable to figure out where is the actual problem?
 
Well, There you go . Mystery solved ! the dtdc guys at the seller's city opened up the package, stole the mobile, re packed it and put a new tracking no on the package and sent you the empty box.
 
If The Seller is true and honest as he is saying then why he is not coming on this thread,he should come post his receipt and discuss with us if and only if he is true and mods should start a service like ebay, the buyer will send money to mod's account and when the buyer gets the product,the buyer will confirm it and the seller will get the money transferred and in this process the mods can charge some amount according to the product value(so that mods gets profit for his efforts) and i am sure the buyer and the seller will prefer this way because they are ensured of thier money and safety and trust, so that even a zero feedback guy will get lot of customers. IF mods start this method then i am damm sure that techenclave will become india's no.1 tech site much much better than erodov and etc's.

All I got the charger, earphones(which is faulty) and quick start guide in the box.

my point is... The dtdc guys needed a reason to cover up for their sham , once you open up a package , you cant use the same tracking no . hence they called the seller that the address is missing on the package , so that they could repack the item and use a fresh tracking no. Why else would they assign a new tracking no for a package....

The seller should have immediately gone to their office to check the package as to why the address was missing...i am surprised as to why he hasn't done this

this could be a well planned out scam by him. By giving you a story , that he was a given a new tracking no after 3 days, he is making it look like it the dtdc are the bad guys here, where as he never put the mobile phone in the box in the first place

These kind of things can happen even then, what would the Mod do if the "buyer" says he not received the item as per specs and the "seller" says i have shipped it correctly? whom will the mods believe? To whom will be the money transferred? The Seller? bcos he says he has shipped it? or the Buyer? bcos he says he has not received it as per specs? The mods will have to start the "investigation" then and then it becomes messy and then ppl will start saying TE mod did this, he took my money etc etc. Whats gonna happen to the reputation of the site?

Apart from that, how is the mod supposed to tally his financial accounts by the end of the year ? His CA will have a nightmare :P and the mod might end up paying taxes and shit :P
