Those are the HE4s, I've had them quite a while now. The 5LE and the 500 are a bit darker, these are more like the HE6 on a budget, a whole 850 usd less than the 6s. They're a lot lighter than most orthos. I haven't heard my LCD2s as yet :banghead: no cable. I remember little of the LCD2 sound when I heard a demo unit, had the HE4s at the time as well. The HE cans have a more airy feel than the Audeze ones, I like the highs on them quite a bit, instrument separation is brilliant and the mid-range is great and very realistic if (and only if) the recordings/files are good, low quality files are exposed on the HE4s more than anything else I've owned. The LCD2s have great bass and probably the best mid range I've heard so they should go well together.

If anyone is looking at the HD6XX series they should have these on their mind as well. Personally feel they're way more VFM than either of the Sennheiser offerings, albeit none of the three are a direct alternative.
 
thats awesome, lookin fwd to ur review for the lcd2's with the currect setup. Have no cash left for a headphone setup and these were the last things i should have seen lol, need to complete my ciem rig first! keep u updated, congrats again :)
 
Brilliant purchase zoheb.... Me too want to get one. But just now got a new phone.. So.. :(

jeri just got it today evening, ill spend some time on it and pm you the info. so far its a damn good phone, really sleek, lightweight. really impressed me, i saw the s4 and was like there is no way im waiting for that phone, this thing is just miles ahead in looks and really similar spec'd in terms of what android phones r offering today. so took the jump. the loudspeaker is definately not the loudest or the best one out there, thats probably cuz of the waterproofing bit. but it does the job, .. sq im gonna load it up with some tunes and try it out tonight, will post more impressions later
