How will this BTC Keyboard app work? Via Bluetooth? Will it support any keyboard/mouse or specific models only?

I think it supports any generic BT keyboard and mouse. It was even working with BT keyboard with touchpads( logitech ps3 keyboard) as seen in youtube videos. However its best to do research and choose the model based on which people had success with this app.
Just jailbroken my iPad Air on 7.0.4.. Everything went smooth..
C0ngrats on Freeing your device. But now you gotta wait until Mobile Substrate is updated and give time to devs to push their updates of the tweaks.
But yes some JB apps will or may work.
I am still gonna wait some time to jailbreak my phone, hopefully future evasi0n versions may have proper cydia and may be mobile substrate bundled.

How exactly do you verify that Appsync is working fine ? By just installing it from cydia ?
Or did you download *some* app from *some* source ?
I am being excited to jb my iPad after Rahul has jb his iPad air.. Bt don't want to take the risk.. Will wait for atleast 2-3 days..
Hey guys , i was reading about this ifile app and some cydia tweaks which allows external sd card to be recognized as an externally mounted drive via camera conmection kit and people were also able to play mp4 movies off the card. As i understood the movies had to be in propreitary itunes format to be played.
Had anyone experimented with this and able to play videos of all formats off an sd card. If so, how?

Desperately waiting for mobile substrate to be updated. I want to jailbreak my iPhone 4S as well. I cringe everytime i press the home button. I have a fear always while using it. Hope zephyr or something similar comes. I guess there are already couple of tweaks that show the multitasking screen with some gesture.
Cool, so I will jailbreak this today, Also, can someone please tell me exact steps so that I dont loose my data? should I say, backup via itunes, shift install the new version, restore data and then jailbreak?
What iOS version are you one ? I believe 5.1.1 right ? Whatever OS you are on, first do a backup in iTunes, SHIFT + restore (if you have the IPSW already downloaded), don't do the UPDATE, do RESTORE only and let it update your device.
If you do get an error 3194 or something, check the hosts file on your windows machine and if you see an entry for gs.apple.com then remove it and then try again.
After this i am not sure if you should jailbreak first and then restore your backup. But i believe it should also work if you restored your backup and then jailbreak the device.
Guys, is it worth upgrading to iOS 7 (jailbroken ofcourse) for my iPhone 4 16gb? I am currently in 6.1 and quite content with it. Though, pretty curious about iOS 7.

I have a read a lot of threads / posts on macrumors that iOS 7 cripples iPhone 4. My wife has 4 and i am NOT going to update her phone. The one installed there is iOS 5.1.1 with jailbreak and she is content with it and her usage does not require the new OS.
I would say stay on 6.1 but if you really want to try out iOS 7 do this..
1. Save the SHSH Blobs of your phone, manually using iFaith and email to yourself and keep it secure.
2. Read read and read more and ask on forums like macrumors whether you can come back to iOS 6 using the SHSH blobs if you dislike iOS 7. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. I believe you can. I have never done this but i have restored iPhone 4 from 5.1.1 to 5.1.1 (yes same OS) using a custom IPSW which had the SHSH Blobs of 5.1.1 stitched in it. This was when apple had already stopped signing 5.1.1
3. DO NOT Rely on blobs saved by cydia. Save yourself manually ALWAYS.

I think once they stop signing, you can't go back to x version even if you have saved the SHSH blobs. Forget it. Don't want to mess around Happy as it is.. Will probably sell this is in a good buyback offer for iPhone 5C or something once the prices fall even further.

You can, but only for certain devices. Like iPhone 4 and before. iPad 1 as well i think. (not considering iPods here).
Apart from these devices, the SHSH Blobs are useless for all other devices.[DOUBLEPOST=1388406557][/DOUBLEPOST]I really want Mobiles substrate to be working soon. I am seeing lots of tweaks coming for iOS 7 espcially for control center to remove unnecessary stuff as well. This is really going to be good. Can't wait to install all the awesome tweaks.
