iOS iOS 7 Jailbreak released [iOS 7.1 not compatible]

Yes, trying to jb my iPad :p

Coming back to the topic I don't think so.. I am doing the same way as it was mentioned in the read me file.. I did check on couple of forums and found out there are many people who had the same issue..

Bt it was actually a pain when the iPad was not booting.. The worst part is to download the iOS which takes about 3+ hours... :(

Download and keep the IPSW and when you use iTunes, using SHIFT while clicking UPDATE or RESTORE and select the IPSW, no need to download the 1+ GB file everytime.
Check iclarified or some website for links of the IPSW.
I did the same. Twice my download got interrupted and downloading again everytime is a pain.

Btw I am not really keen on updating to 7.0.4 as all apps i have installed work fine with my iOS. I do run into update issues always so i cannot get latest versions but since JB on my iOS version is super stable so i am staying with it for now. I was convincing myself to go iOS 7 but cannot find any compelling reason to do so.[DOUBLEPOST=1387904630][/DOUBLEPOST]Finally Bit the bullet. Updated to iOS 7.0.4 and will jailbreak now.
Currently it is restoring from backup. Hope that goes fine.

I have updated my 4S to 7.0.4 and restored the backup fine. Process went without any hiccups and i got everything back including Contacts, SMS, Notes, reminders and such.
I am not sure whether i should jailbreak now or not. May be wait couple of days more for things to stabilize. May be evaders team release a new version of their tool, not sure.
Currently there seems to be issues with the jailbreak. But eventually i have to jailbreak. So in 2-3 days i will probably jailbreak.

The chinese app stores would be installed only if your phone's main language has been chosen as Chinese, at least that is what i found from whatever i have read.
Cydia has been updated for iOS 7 but still will have issues. Mobile substrate is not yet updated.

I thought it installs but appears only when language is set Chinese. It looks like that I will choose to wait for dust to settle. Also need to check how much performance hit iPhone 4 takes with iOS 7 from iOS 6.1

raks avoid JB as of now.. i tried on my ipad and it was a pain.. Lets wait for few days..

Same here... Just that I did a foolish thing of upgrading to iOS 7 on all my devices thinking about the internet speed.. :(

I shouldn't have done it...

Guys whoever is on jb please dont upgrade to ios7 as of now... Let the jb thing get stable.. (Personal suggestion)

To be frank, this change I am hating for now. It will take time to sink in the new (not really) OS. All white white sucks. It would be awesome if some theme or something comes which makes the phone look like iOS 5/6 again. Also would want to see some tweaks that I love to use (like zephyr) to work on iOS 7 but read that its developer is boycotting this JB so i am not sure what will happen to this tweak.
Secondly i was so much used to using LockInfo that I am missing it so so much now.

I am still holding out the jailbreak. Evaders pushed a new version of their evasion tool so i believe they will do couple of more version to get a more stable jailbreak and that is when i am hoping to jailbreak my device.
 
My friend has jailbroken his iPad 4.. He installed Cydia and everything. He has no problems or whatsoever.. The modules required for installing apps like iAPFree have been ported to iOS7 in less than 48 hours. The development is darn fast. I am thinking about jailbreaking my iPad Air. Just want to enjoy the vanilla iOS7 for some time. I'll probably jailbreak it next week.. :)
 
I think it is iPad 2 wifi which has some problem with the jailbreak. Others are fine but i would still say wait for few days. If you are on a jailbreakable iOS then you do not really need to worry. Only if you are on pre-iOS 7 and want to update then now is the time.[DOUBLEPOST=1388036080][/DOUBLEPOST]Btw already tweaks for iOS 7 have started flowing in, like changing stuff in control center, killing all apps together and such. :D
And some secret hidden settings to make granular changes to iOS look and feel and may be functionality as well.
 
I just found out yday that there is a cydia app called BTC keyboard and mouse which supports wireless mouse and cursor support. Amazing. Now it will justify my purchase of full size ipad as i also wanted to use it in laptop mode. To hell with android tabs. :D
