English TV series discussion

Finch says, "we are being watched", not "you are being watched". Samaritan is up to something but I guess we will have to wait for a long time before we are told what exactly it is.
As root says, samaritan's new 'asset' is someone similar to her, i.e. someone who can track 'the machine'.

how about firefly? does season 1 concludes the story?
The movie 'Serenity' concludes the story.

Yeah, but we don't know what Samaritan's plan is and how this new 'asset' will be used. We saw secret agents killing people who were threat to Samaritan, so obviously it isn't going to be wet work.

Completed Penny Dreadful last night. I take back what I said before, this show was amazing. I'm in awe of Eva Green. She is not only gorgeous, but a f*ckin' brilliant actress. Josh Hartnet also gave a great performance. The soundtrack and the whole brooding atmosphere of this show turned out to be very interesting. The first episode should have really been improvised. The second episode is where it started to reveal the true nature. The seance part was a complete "Holy shite" moment; beautifully done and acted. It's a shame the episode counts are dropping for premium cable shows these days. This series could use a full fledged 13 episode season. Highly recommended if you're into supernatural horror shows.

I'm absolutely stunned by the amazing performance Eva Green has delivered on this show; it's surreal. Truth be told, I have only seen her performance in 300: Rise of an Empire and it was pretty solid. However, this show took it another level altogether. The possession scenes especially were mind-numbingly realistic. I'm truly impressed. She definitely deserves an Oscar or at least any other award for her portrayal on this show as Vanessa Ives.

Binged on some Walking Dead this weekend. Good show. Drags a bit in some places but overall good. Waiting for this season to start.

Watched Gotham E03. This shows just keeps proving what a disaster it is. The whole Moonie thing is one of the worst plot points. Here I was thinking no one could top Agents of Shield in the bad spinoffs category, this series just outshines it.

Lynch as director for all episodes which means that this could be pretty awesome.

Indeed. Plus, it's on Showtime, so no restrictions whatsoever. I really wish the old cast was retained, but considering the time gap, I don't see that happening. Listening to that intro tune really brought back good memories.

I loved the 3rd episode of Season 2 Blacklist. This episode reminded me of why the first half of first season was so good. A very interesting villian and his modus operandi. Also , i am curious regarding
Red's ex wife
