Hopshopgo
SNS (shopandship) requires paid subscription
PPObox
ishopinternational

Rest all require normal registration

Even if these services are used, correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't there additional duties n levies to be paid at customs clearance if applicable? Knowing our Indian Customs Services.. astronomically absurd duties are not beyond their realm of demands.

Not related to Black Friday but what is the customs duty on phones now ?
Like say if one were to buy iPhone 6 for say $900 then what will be customs ? If I order through sns or such shipping forwarder.

HSG has low rates if we are shipping in large quantities. Maybe we can pool our orders....What say ?
Cost is around ($25 for first lb and $3.5/lb thereafter)

I am really looking forward to getting a good laptop this black friday. (Sager / MSI / Lenovo)
Anyone know how much is the customs for laptops ? Any experience ?

minimum 5k extra for a laptop including duty , taxes , customs

I don't mind 5K....but it would really help to know the exact percentage. I get a 60K laptop and they charge me 20K customs, that will be a nightmare.

^ i am thinking of getting an i5 processor... will it be wise to get it in the black friday sale from abroad ?

go to ishopinternational and use their calculator , thats the most accurate of all . Their is no difference in the quotes they give and through their website calculator , if you have taken taxes , weight , price correctly .

Please update on PC games deals (if any) and PS Vita/3DS and their RPGs.
Looking to buy some good games if I can. Their sites won't load properly on my phone. Someone please upload the deals as images. [DOUBLEPOST=1415850495][/DOUBLEPOST]

unless you can get it at half the price. you'll also have to comprise on the warranty. importing processors, motherboards etc is not a good idea. but hard disk you may as they sometimes come at a sweet deal.

^ I think of all the things you could import, the processor is the safest bet. They almost never go bad and they are very light too (shipping).
If you get a good deal on processor, go for it with your eyes closed.

Customs does not kill the deal. Shipping and Handling does.

Could you elaborate please?

I could be interested in getting a processor as well. Given the massive markup between the USD & INR rates on PC components lately .. especially the latest stuff.. it could be worthwhile ordering in bulk from the US if the deals are good enough on Black Friday

got to ishop add any item and see the charges . They have increased taxes so much that its no use to buy till the price difference is huge . Even with ishop 25% shipping off they compensate in other taxes and duty which they don't give breakup .
SNS used to be transparent earlier when they copy of original duty invoices and shipping as per calculator . Now its same rate everywhere . No body gives original invoices for you to know actual duty paid which is quite less . Now any mobile worth $200 costs you minimum 2k to import it whereas the duty is quite less and shipping generally is $10/13 everywhere .
Best these days is ishop as you know the final amount but it doesn't work in most time bound BF deals due to office timing and restriction of 1 item from one account during BF so we have to use shipment forwarders who charge us as per their profit margins

I got a mobile shipped via HopShopGo, they used DHL and I got the invoice for the duty paid including breakup.
Are you referring to increase in taxes / duties by govt or iShop ? If it is the latter, we have alternatives.
