Laptops Buying Asus GL552JX laptop from Ebay for 55k

Does extending the laptop warranty to 3 yrs offer any benefit for a techy user ?

Seller has shipped it! Got the tracking details. Though I also got a message saying automatic refund has been initiated, after which it gave me a tracking number.

I am also looking for a laptop with similar specs.

How do you make out whether the delivered piece is refurbished or new ? Is there a way to
check on the vendor's site or somethig ?

Nope. Just gotta trust the seller. Check out the feedback on his/her eBay page and then what they are claiming.

I chose to buy this model only cos the feedback score was good. I went through their positive, neutral and negative feedbacks to get an idea of the exp ppl had with them and then decided accordingly.
 
Same here, we trust the seller as the seller had an excellent rating and he's a really old seller. eBay rating system is very stringent and getting a 5 out of 5 rating is very difficult, a seller has to work really hard consistently to get a rating as good as his.

Btw, shipping details have been updated.

So, no problem there. I already like the looks of the Laptop. Looks really good. Now, I'm waiting for this product to back on sale.

Show-off thread created. Warning: Mouse and Bag was taken out from the so-called sealed package by the seller. Pack was sealed by the eBay sticker though.
A few marks were present on the screws of the rear service cover. Clearly the cover was opened but it still had the same 1TB HDD by HGST and 4GB DDR3L 1600Mhz RAM by SKHynx.

We never mentioned in ebay listing or never offered that we are providing the bag and mouse with the laptop, the deal was for the Laptop only.

to cut the costs and make the laptop cheapest we bought the laptops without the bag and mouse, the value of them are already adjusted in the laptop.


You get only what is listed on ebay and what is offered to you, if any mouse or bag was provided with this laptop, we would have mentioned it in the listing.

new stock will come with mouse and bag also and will be listed on ebay but the prices will be around 4 to 5000 Rupees higher.

about the mark on screw, that is strange thing and never happened in past, we are investigating the same and will update you, please do post some pics of the effected area.

In that case, please make two separate listings, one with mouse and bag and one without it, as guys like me need no mouse or bag but just want the cost to be low. When will the new stock go on sale?
