After going with above image/details, please suggest me what Cooler type (just Good FAN or need to repalce Intel Stock CPU Cooler) I need to install.?

Cabinet is Cooler Master Elite 310 / Mother Board DH67BL (B3) / i5-2400

As of now have only one - 120mm Cooler Master Rear Fan (also one stock fan in Seasonic PSU + Stock CPU Cooler)

Please, friends suggest as fast as possible.

Thank you

How old is your system?
Did you ever cared to clean inside cabinet?..dust, moisture, fan blades, mesh if any etc.
When was the last time you replaced thermal paste?
You need a after market cooler like hyper 212+.

  1. It's 2011 System.
  2. Every year in Diwali I clean full system, very neatly, remove CPU FAN and clean all (even heatsink too)
  3. Every time (in Diwali) using new Heatsink Paste too (non branded but good quality- avail in Injection for Rs50-80)
  4. Just 2-3 month before I replaced thermal paste

[DOUBLEPOST=1539847738][/DOUBLEPOST]Any low cost option, like suggested here >> http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2467876/alternatives-hyper-212-evo-budget-cooling.html

This this is what you need to carefully consider. This is where a big mistake is made. A good paste costs around Rs. 600 like Artic silver 5/mx. Dont be reluctant to spend on it it will last you for couple of shots over the years and moreover it will save your dear system from frying.
With that Rs 50 cheap injection no matter how costly cooler you install its anyways going to suck and not help you.
First buy this and even on stock cooler you will immediately see the difference.

For airflow of cabinet, PSU and CPU fans would not have that large effect. For your cabinet, you can set one front fan as intake and one rear fan as exhaust. As suggested above, get better cooling paste as those generic one won't make any cut. I used to apply Arctic Silver 5 when I had desktop. It would cost much more than current ones but effects should be imminent. I hope you are aware about quantity and method of applying cooling paste.

I believe trying these two first would save you from any hassle of getting 3rd party CPU cooler unnecessarily.

PS: If possible, increase frequency of cabinet cleaning.

Are these idle or load temps? Did the temps increase recently?
If they've always been this high, then don't worry about it. If it's been running for 7 years at those temps without an issue, then just let it be.
If your thermal paste has been giving you good results for 6 years, then maybe it's just that you applied too little/too much this time, or that you didn't clean up properly first.

Has your computers performance degraded recently?
If it changed recently, then check your CPU stats, and see if you've got any processes running in the background.
Run a scan disk and check your logs for any hdd related errors.

I'd suggest buying a 120mm fan and using it as an intake and not a cooler, because a new cooler may not be compatible with your next upgrade.

In this April I just bought NEW Ceiling Fan and found it very good but at same time it attracts LOADS of Dust not on every product/part of room but on Cabinet too, yes I think now I requires to clean cabinet by every 2-3 months.

Yes, I found it became SLOW and just last week I replaced HDD (earlier one failed for no reason after 7 years and other developed some Technical Fault BOTH were old enough) and now all is working as I expect.

Yes, I too think same but which FAN to buy and how to make sure what side is Intake and what side is throwing air out?

Arctic Sliver 5 is too costly.... so I'm, thinking to buy ONE NEW FAN and test, if any Positive done than ok and if not than no option but to try Arctic Silver. Any suggestion for FAN (what brand and from where to buy? )

120mm fan will also cost like 600 bucks. For thermal paste, Arctic Silver 5 is 650 on Primeabgb. You can also checkout Noctua NT-H1 for 500.

Hello Friends,

As of now to check, I applied heatsink compound that cost me Rs.40/- (as at my place all Computer Dealers selling same) and Arctic Silver took 4-5 days to reach if place order online.

And found following result.... (system running since last 3 hrs and max Temp reached ONLY ONCE to 61c for 2-3 seconds and after that constantly playing between 46c-52c)

I still think you should avoid the cheap thermal paste (consider the cost savings vs. the cost of the cpu/mobo if it should fail)
If you want a new cpu cooler, I too recommend the cm hyper 212 (or the deepcool gammax 400 which is what I'm using).

That ISOL 6 is not meant for computer chips. This is from the manufacturer's product page:

We are one the leading manufacuter and supplier of Thermal Paste.ISOL SL 06ISOL 6, Heat Sink Compound is a non-curing, water resistant paste heavily filled with heat conductive metallic oxides in a Silicone base. It is used for maintaining a positive heat-sink seal that improves heat transfer from the electrical / electronic component / device to the heat sink or chassis,...

Applications

Generally used as a thermal coupling of electrical / electronic devices to heat sinks such as base or mounting studs of transistors, diodes and rectifiers.

Also used as a non-flammable coating for fly back transformer connections in TV chassis and similar applications.

Ultimately its a 50 rupees thermal paste meant for aluminium heat sinks for radios transistors etc where heat produced is a lot less than what a computer cpu produces.

Na.. never ever I think like that, as here all are suggestion what is good for my system.... soon I will try One Branded ... thanks for sharing eye opening fact 6pack , thank you all

Dont think we're forcing this stuff on you but those cheap pastes suck man. just buy a coolermaster one ~300rs or noctua nh 1 ~500rs
