The most difficult question for a gamer. Play station ,Xbox or Nintento Wii. Personally i like Play Station. I have been playing it for more than 10 years. I like the graphics and the gameplay are off the hook. Consider me biased or not, i recommend the play station.

PS4, Xbox One & Nintendo Switch

Think much water have flown under the bridge now. I am no gamer and just starting off but i found X box One S to be better value for money compared to sony. What i did not liked about sony is its exclusivity and reluctance overall in sharing platform with MS. experts might differ but thats what u could read through lots of articles. Offcourse, Having a backward compatibility do help Xbox One S...

I am seeing 3 version -

A) Normal X Box 1S
B) Normal X Box X
C) X box 1 S - Digital edition

The Guy at botton ( C) is confusing me as looking at pics , it appears to be missing the blu ray which mean, have to depend solely on downloads...

I don't know what makes you think Xbox One is better value for money unless you're only thinking from Game Pass point of view.

When it comes to backward compatibility it's again a digital purchase for you if you go by option C because if you physically own a 360 or OG Xbox game then you need to have a disc reader.

Xbox this generation is likes Nintendo Wii from last generation. It has very few good exclusives (almost none).

On straight comparison, One S makes more sense.

As for Option C goes, it was without a Disk reader ( CD ROM) hence the digital edition) . Went to a local Best buy store and in 199 USD, X box One S ( Jedi ediiton) made most sense comapred to a 350 USD PS4 professional...Offocurse i need to spend 60 USD more to buy a game...

I just hoping that you have seen the One S console & Nintendo before commenting that they are same. No offence..

As for exclusive games goes, I dont care unless i am getting all the game i need, Exclusivity is over hyped IMO ...

If you are only going to play multi-platform games than you might get better deal in xbox one s, if you have 4k,u might even consider the x too, it's 4k performance is great as many one of God pc gamer friend.

Exclusivity is not overrated for games like God of War, Spiderman ps4, Mario, Zelda etc and Microsoft is going to follow the same with their next Console

To be honest, i find this exclusiviity debate pretty useless. world is such that one thing cannot ful full all your desires whether its gaming ot or phones or laptops or Desktops. You got to find out whats your usecase and pick the best one of the lot and stay happy.

Unfortunately that's how the console gaming companies has decided to differenciate. But in distant future when everything will be on cloud, things will be more accessible

Comparison is not in same league/category. It's either XBOne X vs PS4 Pro or PS4/Slim vs XBOne/S.

@sushil.mudgil - Like @vyral_143 you are comparing the wrong versions of the consoles. It is Xbox One S vs PS4 Slim and Xbox One X vs PS4 Pro.

If exclusivity is not a thing and you are okay with just about anything then I would recommend picking up a Ryzen based PC because Xbox One has only console exclusive games.

This term (Console Exclusive) is not to be confused with exclusive games. What they mean is - that particular game can be on PC but exclusive to only that console. Gears of War 5 is an example of console exclusive, it exists on PC and Xbox One but not on Switch or PS4. Death Stranding is console exclusive to PS4 meaning it is only on PC and PS4 but not on XBox One or Switch.

Platform exclusive means the game is exclusive to only a particular platform example Uncharted 4 is PS4 exclusive and only available on it.

I understood what Vyral said as well as what exclusivity is about. The Games exclusive to one platofrm will always be there. Thats how MS & sony are differentiating themselves in the market. On top, we have independent player as well like EA in market so beleive we have enough room for everybody to grow and make their mark keeping a end user satisifed. My point is purely on Money terms wrt to X box one S being better value for money ,Nothing else.

i already have a desktop to game but than the experience differs when playing on console & desktop.

I think most of xbox games are well optimized for pc,but multiplat games might have slightly better or worse experience and community. If you already have a good gaming pc, ps4 or switch makes perfect sense to me
