AMD 6000 series graphics cards

RX 6000 is very good on rasterization part ,people babbling around regarding DXR shut up RTX is proprietary so not all games would be able to support yes few games are actually giving good fps with DXR on nvidia , AMD & MSFT are comming up with Direct ML and it will be open source .This will again happen like gsync and freesync int he end due to cost people will move towards open source. Regarding VRAM future games would have more textures hence 16 gb VRAM future proofs the card ,as of now RX 580 still rocks due to its higher VRAM
that RX 580 part... made my day lol...

There is absolutely zero things proprietary about the ray tracing APIs - be it DXR or Vulkan. Both are open spec and the IHV has to simply create a driver that supports the API. The API is agnostic to the hardware underneath and doesn't care how things are implemented in the hardware.

I suggest you read the microsoft primer on DXR before making baseless statements.

Here is the DXR functional spec - do you see anything NVIDIA specific here?

PS: Graphics programming is my bread and butter.

Just like last time ;)
amd rep saying launching today. reddit saying primeabgb told 27th. other dealer saying 29th

TBH I've no idea what you were expecting, I already told you a few pages back that it's either going to be unavailable or overpriced or both.
There's no PS5 or XSX, the 3070/3080 launch was botched and there were no signs of 6800 anywhere so why would you expect anything different this time around ?

I did got the change to buy RX 6800 but didn't wanted to cutdown on performance with just over 100 USD price difference. amd rep replied that this are Aib Cards pricing so fingure crossed that they are not the reference Aib cards prices...

This is exactly what I said long time ago. We are 3rd World country and being treated like one now. US is the cash cow so all the focus is there.

Yes the funniest shit I've heard Indian videogamers say online is "India is a big market for gaming" yeah more like low settings 30fps and mobile gamers. The privileged few won't even cut it lol. :hilarious:
India is just a grain of rice when compared against full rice fields of USA or even The Phillipines.
This is why they are always screwing us over and add our shitty 18% tax lol.

My point is if RX 6800 is launched and 45k then RX 6800 xt should have Ben 55 to 56k and not 64k. How did the difference between price of 70 to 80 usd converted to 200 usd or so

Amd rep said this price is for Aib models but again amd don’t sale their own reference model so are this aib reference model or aib custom cards is what I got confused on.

today he is going to have a hell of a day ahead as everywhere they are getting back slash.
I don’t mind paying 76k for the top end card for aib if this is reference card. Nvidia you have my money again
Again when and read his reply and it clearly says it’s a custom variant pricing as no reference model has been bought to the market.
Still a ray off hope we have

I hope he does. Barring those so-called "influencers" who got them for free no one else is happy about it. No one else also seems to be questioning the lack of availability of some of their processors. I too will become a YouTuber now Brb.
I'll see you guys when I get the first RTX 5090 Ti Super Amp Turbo Cooling edition in India.

Primeabgb is listing sapphire and gigabyte cards on site for RX 6800XT and those are Aib Reference models. I hope this are not the one pricing Rs.76.6k

gigabyte rep from reddit said cards are not here in india yet so tomorrow or 29th is the tentative date for the same.

email to prime also says stock not available so we need to wait till when the availability comes in.
