Other brands of ram will work just fine. If you buy slower ram, the faster ram downclocks to natch the slower RAM

I paired the kits mentioned in the opening post and the pc is not booting up. It stuck in endless boot cycle not even post. Both kits are working fine when used individually.

try resetting the bios. If it still does not work, enable XMP profiles if the motherboard detects them or set the RAM to 1600 Mhz manually in BIOS
