Up! Up! Up!
Forerunner
Has anyone bought this cabinet, have been planning to go micro -atx for some time now, Has a good offer for 4k
Is it sturdy enough because it will have to move a lot in a suitcase with lot of foam (Air travel in checkin luggage), Planning to remove the side glass panel and just add acrylic sheet to it and also add a couple of steel support braces accross

Had used a Corsair 80R for exact same purpose.

I have this cabinet, using this since March. Not sure how portable it is, but I bought it for its compactness since I had space restrictions, plus this seemed to be one of the best MATX cases. Houses a 3600XT, Vega 64 Liquid, MSI B450M Mortar and Deepcool Gammaxx V2.

Also houses 1x Arctic 140mm on top as intake, 1x pre installed fan as intake on front bottom, Vega AIO configured as exhaust up front on top with the other pre installed fan as exhaust on the radiator, and another 1x120 exhaust on the rear side. Can probably mount another 90mm fan on top if I was using an AIO for the CPU as well, but then would have to settle for a 120mm aio installed in the rear.

Temps and airflow are quite good, GPU maxes out at 65c and CPU at 70C under gaming (RDR2), although pre installed dust filters are a bit flimsy.
And though it feels well built overall, I don't think it can handle much abuse since the metal sheet used is quite thin and bends quite easily. Also good to see a fellow member from Navi Mumbai!

Buy the Fara instead. Better build quality!
Fara is a much larger case by volume (more than 45L compared to PS15 Pro at under 26L), so absolute no go for OP's purpose
If @sanjeevram can swallow the mITX tax (mainly psu and CPU cooler cost), would highly recommend NR200

I intend to build In the NR 200 in the next couple of months, Meanwhile Need to trim down my Antec Nx800 Housing a 3800x, MSI tomahawk B550, Temporary GTX 1080 (Future RTX 4000/WX7100) Corsair H100x, 3 SSDs.

If its not much of an issue can you share some inside pics via PM, and would want to have a look at it personally if possible. TIA
Since its for business purpose, A lot would depend on the case. I dont have too many attempts with trial and error.

Sharing pics is not an issue, but my (non existent) cable management is haha. Take a look at attached pic. System is currently running rn so this is best I can do presently (just took off the side panel and clicked pic), and things are pretty crammed in here. Building was a bit of a pain die to the huge GPU, but otherwise it was fine.

Is the HDD caddy removeable ?
Not intended to be removed, but it can be if you have appropriate power tools. I had originally planned to remove it but kept it after all since I have non modular psu, and tucked the excess cables in it.

You can check reddit to see examples where people have removed the hdd bay.

I made a build using this case recently, the quality is pretty decent and the included fans are fairly quiet. The glass on the side seems sturdy but definitely use a lot of padding for travel. I got a vertical GPU brace and clamped both both top and bottom of my GPU to avoid damage when moving my chassis to and from a friends place on weekends.

A few things to watch out for is the minimal space on the rear for cable management especially if you aren’t using a modular psu and don’t want to have too many visible cables in the front like me. The other thing is the CPU Cooler clearance of 154mm. If you’re using an AM4 board you’ll get a couple of mm extra whereas on an intel board it’s best to stick to the official clearance which unfortunately removes a lot of good 120mm air coolers from the options. I’m currently using a SilverStone AR12 Argon Cooler(154mm height) which is doing a good job of cooling my 5800x. Temps are low 70s while gaming and 85 max on synthetic loads when boosting to 4.6 all core on stock and 4.85 single core.

Motherboard is an MSI MAG B550M Mortar WiFi and the VRM Heatsinks touch the 120mm exhaust fans I added at the top.

GPU is a 290mm long and 2.5 slot Aorus RTX 2070 Super. When I first built it, the GPU didn’t fit. I mounted the included front fans in the space between the front cover and the rest of the chassis and then inserting the GPU diagonally, it managed to get inside. If the GPU is any longer you might have to fit it before mounting the CPU heatsink. GPU temps are 70 while gaming and 76 in Kombustor.

I’ve added a few pics

@sanjeevram Do you use your machine for editing or something similar?

If you are open to importing there is this smashing case on TaoBao called the Mechanic Master C26. Probably the smallest mAtx case at under 13 liters.

One more alternative to this would be Silverstone Fara h1m/pro models. They have similar height & depth but are have 210mm width which ensures full compatibility with all air coolers if that is an issue with pst15/pro & better cable management at the back. It also has a PSU shroud which will look good but might have a detrimental impact on GPU temperatures.

I am also looking into getting one of these, once I get a new matx motherboard+ CPU combo, to downsize my setup. Wanted to go full itx but the high component prices as well as the questionable temperatures specially in Delhi/NCR summers made me rethink my priorities. Size of PS15 & Fara H1m is small enough for me & the good cooling potential makes it a no brainer for me.

Slightly OT, the only thing still holding me back is the tempered glass side panel. These days it is really impossible to get a non tempered glass version of most non itx cases specially these niche ones. I really hate the tempered glass trend specially in our country where temperatures are high, dust is aplenty & spare tempered side panels are difficult to come buy rendering the whole thing open if anything breaks. I am going to put in under my desk & really would have loved a non-tempered version of these case. This is one of the reason why I wanted to go with NR 200, it really looks very good to me specially with that vented side panel.

Was referring to the microatx version. Someone has already shared the same down below. It's aesthetically a much nicer looking case.

If budget can be extended, even the FD Define C mini (or its corresponding newer model) is a great case. I have a Define C mini for my linux PC and it is fabulous.

Ah, was not aware that there's a mATX version as well now. I thi k they hadn't launched (in India at least) back in March, although this is still a bit bigger than the PS15 Pro by about 5L. Still, good to know!

I am not into editing, but the workflow and hardware required in very similar. The case looks wonderful.
I had previously used the corsair 80r for this purpose for over a year across 80+Flights, So itshould be fine i guess.

PS: case in question:
The argb one looks great, looks like a smaller Antec NX 800 to me, Will remove the tempered glass and replace it with 5mm Acrylic Sheets with some Designs. Thanks
Hope the build quality is a bit better that the earlier selected one!

I was going to buy the same mobo, But it was not available at that time locally and online was costing above 21K.
Now looking at the Gigabyte B550m Aorus Pro p or ASUS TUF Gaming B550M-Plus AM4
Graphics card is going to be a Prosumer card so not concerned with the heat, And it would be always 22-24 Degree ambient temperature.
Processor would be a 3800x For 2-3 months afterwards will upgrade to 5900X.
Will be using a 240 mm Corsair Rad or a Good Noctua air cooler within spec.

Have you populated both M.2 ports on your Motherboard, Also have you used the second Pci-e x4 Slot.
Just curious. Bcoz when i install two M.2 drives on my mobo, The pcieX4 Slot does not detect my capture card. Or am i missing something. Really love the mortar, it has the best power delivery among b550 Boards but this issue keeps me tensed.

I'm using the second M.2 slot right now with a P1, but I have a 980 Pro coming this Friday for the main slot.

I think your issue is because the B550M mortar disables the PCIe x4 slot when the Second M.2 slot is used. If you use only the primary M.2 (The gen 4 one), it should still work. This is unlike some other boards which disable some of the SATA ports instead but the limitation there is the second full length slot is often limited to two lanes. Its a trade-off for distributing the lanes available from the B550 chipset :/

The lanes for the second M.2 and x4 slot come from the chipset. So even if you use only one M.2 but in the second slot, it would disable the second x4 slot

Also btw this board is going for 17300 on Amazon.in right now.

I run virtual shows and conferences and broadcast it over the internet.
Once outdoor events start, I will handle software's such as Dataton Watchout and Resolume Arena which are essentially LED Mapping software's.
Have attached pics as to what i do.

As you can see, there is often very less space to work with, and mostly we do shows back to back often in two different cities.
Have also added a pic of one of the systems on a CM Q300l which is not at all sturdy.
