Query abt Act 100Mbps Diwali free Upgrade

I received mail today that ACT (Hyderabad) has given free Diwali 100Mbps free upgrade . All we have to do is go to their app and click on the banner and will be directly upgraded to the mentioned speed.

My question here is I was able to get 100Mbps on desktop which is connected via router and cable but when I check speed on my devices connected to Wifi its just 75Mbps .

Can anyone tell me if I can achieve this on 100Mbps on Wifi also ?

I even asked the same with ACT support team they say that 100Mbps is guaranteed only if its connected via ethernet cable.

Router -- Netgear Nighthawk X6 R8000

If we can achieve this on Wifi also please let me know .

You need 5Ghz wifi for speeds greater than 75Mbps. Make sure you're connecting your device to 5GHz AP and the device supports dual band wifi.

If your mobile supports 5GHz channel, you should be able to get the 100Mbps speed.

You can check your Channel in your router settings. It can either display 2.4 and 5Ghz seperately or do it as one and the connecting device will pick the best out when connecting.

Thanks man I connected my phone to 5Ghz and tried speed testing which worked .I was able to see 100Mbps on phone too.
