Pixel 6a launched

I don't understand why people here are blaming the router when I have repeatedly said that other devices at my home face no issues. If all phones work and Pixel doesn't, then it's a phone issue, not a router issue.

Unless my router has a personal grudge against my phone. But I doubt they have enough feelings to hold a grudge.
You are not alone, there are multiple reports of it.

I used to have this issue with an older Fire TV and the problem is some cheaper WiFi chipsets are channel limited. By default, most routers have channel hopping enabled to prevent interference. Worst case, you can set it to the first channel for 5 GHz as that is the most common and has the highest range. Also try changing the channel bandwidth to the lowest one available, which might be 20 or 40 Mhz for maximum range and compatibility.

Eh !? The only google phone that came with a MicroSD slot was the google 1 back in 2010
Even if they don't want to give memory card slot they could at least give a bigger storage option. The Pixel 6 Pro has it. No reason that the 6A can't. Google wants to be so much like Apple but damn they cannot even do that.
American mobile companies think MicroSD is NOT a good thing to have and is a reason I've avoided them since their inception.
I read somewhere that the stock storage for flagship and premium phones is faster than memory cards and they don't want to compromise with the speed.

People who wants to buy this phone for media and camera purpose will constantly need to backup their photos somewhere. I kinda think it's ironic. They make a phone for camera (what Pixel phone is also mostly known for) but don't give the phone enough storage to store the media.

It's bait for cloud storage. ;)

Also, do you think iPhone SE is better than A series ? Come on !

iPhone SE should not exist in 2022. Period.
My cousin sister just bought one the other day. :|
Then how will they cross sell their cloud services ?
Free PH sub and look at them SMASHING their records. May be illegal in India but perfectly legal in many other countries. Jk of course.

Anyway I really don't like it. I don't think it's meant for the general consumers in India. City people will be fine with it but still cannot imagine spending 44k for it. But who cares right. Just like Apple fanboys buying their products for the craziest price tags.
I didn't bring out the price of their Pixel buds for a reason lol.

This is so true.

I had some "weird" shots with my wife's iPhone 13 recently - there was one specifically where my daughter's photo seemed like a bad photoshop job over a landscape. Almost like the iphone forget DoF data.

On Pixels, the only issue I have seen often is poor blurring around hair (or indistinguishable areas between foreground and background).

They are even providing buds a for free. But not in INdia
Proof that Google and many other brands don't give a shit about India no matter how "big" the market is lol. Also despite India being one of the top markets for Xiaomi products, we don't even get the Xioami Ultra models ffs.

They do, but i think their commercial strategy is different. In the US, they'll get money off services - phone plans, YouTube premium, Google one, Fitbit plus subscriptions etc. We Indians are cheap and only a very small percentage opt for them. So in the US hardware is a loss leader for services. I used to get a lot of free stuff from Google in the US ( Google nest mini, Chromecast4k etc) but here i think they're trying to run hardware as a standalone profitable business because the services side of it isn't as profitable
