Suggest 3.5mm to usb converter for PC

I need a usb headphone for my office work to use on desktop but not worthy spending hefty amounts just for usb.
Instead thought about 3.5mm to usb converter using which can use any phone earphones.

Saw few on amazon but users complaining about mic not working and sound distorting issues.

So suggest one where mic actually works with no disturbances.

If you have the headset, take a look at the plug. How many black rings does it have or better post a photo of it here of the headset plug

This matters because some brands swap the connection and you can't mix dongles with them.

The standards are CTIA and OMTP. Can you look at your headset specs and mention which of those two terms is stated for your headset

Wait, I am not sure that I quite understand. Are you asking for a USB to 3.5mm converter or a 3.5mm to USB converter? Because I am sure there are plenty of the former available, but I do not think I have ever seen any device capable of the latter.

truth be told we our next purchase should be a usb c headphones such as one plus bullet headphones .Rambling and whining about 3.5 mm jack wont help. As usb c is atleast universal on almost all android based smartphones , the next logical step from manufacturers would be dropping 3.5 mm on low budget phones as well

I already have these ext. cables for mic/audio but my cabinets front audio isn't compatible with latest mobo audio system hence its quite fuzzy. Hence looking for aio solution.
I do not mind connecting the headphones 3.5mm to these separate jack cable and then plug it into usb converter again having separate jacks, Only thing is it should work foolproof (enforcement is on mic)

At the left: A clear pic of the 3 earphones/headphones I have. TRSS jacks.

Now i'm unsure if via the splitter will the earphones work good with this conenctor?

Mic does not work because you can't mix CTIA with OMTP.

He does not know which kind his earphone is. So its a crap shoot whether CTIA works or not.

Life was much simpler when you had two jacks, one for mic and audio. Division of labour. Each did its own thing.

Once they combined things into one TRRS plug it got confusing.

Apple did things their way, the market caters for them with CTIA. And the rest use OMTP.
