I believe its better to change some perspectives of this rule.
It would be great if TE considers activity of user over months and how long they are associated instead of just post count and more than month old.
I feel TE is encouraging us to post unuseful, unwilling content to cross the barrier.

The idea is to stop thinking about the number of posts, and comment only when you think it is useful. post limit is already low. A new user can also post reviews, guides or anything new which may be helpful to others.

Hi,

I have genuine queries about how TechEnclave works with User Post Count.
I had + user posts for more than 10 days now and I didn't delete any content/my published posts.

Today I have posted my classified, which is removed without any notification/message from moderator and my count went down came down to 24 (like someone purposefully did it).
I am genuinely asking how this works and how can it decrease just when I post my classified and removed without any message.

From what I have seen...If you're post does not add value to the topic or discussion, then it is not included in your count and probably removed. Eg. Thanks for responding.

Classified threads are locked/deleted when you don't have two pictures of the product with your user name and date written on a piece of paper or your post looks suspicious.
The posts in the General, classifieds, dealer paradise, WTB etc do not contribute towards post count. I have no idea why your post count reduced.
I suggest you don't worry about post count.

Probably one of your post was moved to the sections where post counts are disabled or deleted for some reason thats the reason for reduction in post count. Since you don't have post at the moment the classified add was deleted/disabled. @RaceGurram

When the aim of each and every post is to get access to Market section then people don't care wasting time on anything thats not mandatory requirement. We knew this day will come and thats why these restrictions were placed (We are an Indian tech community and don't want to become olx).
Most of the times you will see suggestions that give easy access to classified. Fine, we heard you so payup and become a reseller then you have access to Dealer section.

This. I don't mind a little gatekeeping, It's a two-edged sword on one hand it keeps me away from posting an FS thread but also helps me complete my first trade without getting scammed, so I will take it. I was always skeptical about this forum (no offense, olx burnt me). I thought about giving it a try and damn I have met some nicest people here so yeah this works for me. However, I do think that recruits should be allowed to post replies in the classified section without moderation (or allow replies after 15 days/2 feedbacks, etc), I have lost an opportunity to grab a good deal on at least one occasion.

These rules were implemented for a reason and you are right in expecting the worse, We had an incident when a newbie posted a sale thread at midnight and ran away with token money from few members. By the time any mod came online few people already paid and got screwed. (Just imagine paying 10k or 5k as token money for too good to be true GPU deal)

Well, that would have hurt. And for any newbie reading this, a "too-good-to-be-true" GPU deal anywhere in the universe is always too good to be true. BTW this community should have some sort of annual convention, I have come up with a name too -- TEcon

Current system is good enough. It is a bit restrictive for new members but it also offers some safety to everyone. New members will surely appreciate this system when they get a good deal without worrying much about the safety.

Yup, no arguments there, all my deals till now have been headache free, and made a few good friends along the way.

Talking about missing posts by the op....
@kartikoli seems to have replied to my post in this thread. However my very own post which he has quoted is now missing.
Not sure if its technical glitch or removed.
