It will be used by my dad only so won't be using it nd he doesn't uses these features for payment. Better check YouTube wud be much better to get the info.

Is it even activated for any series other than the latest one?

Galaxy Watch 6 supports Tap & Pay in India via Samsung Wallet

Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Watch 6 series supports Tap & Pay (NFC payments) in India via Samsung Wallet.

Also, it would work only with merchants that support Samsung Wallet.

Working with all terminals is a thing of the past when magnetic secure transmission used to be supported, but that has been discontinued in faviour of RFID.

Has anyone tried using spay feature on watch 4 yet?
I have added my sbi card on it,yet to do any transactions.
Does nfc work wothout internet access?

It works with any vendor that supports tap nfc payments at the point of sale machine, which has been all of them here in Bangalore, YMMV.
