Yes, I did get back with the seller and settled as per above, and the seller also picked back the card.

An escrow system would be great. But that would put great load on the moderators.

It's not primarily a sales forum so no. People buy nd sell at their will. So best is trust that is made with time and not allowing any new members be it with Enclave Plus or other tag to be allowed to make any sale thread except buying. And mods are already keeping tabs and do block when it feels fishy or if their is complaint.

There should be a forum rule regarding mandatory testing warranty of 2-3 days minimum. Especially on expensive and sensitive items.

It would be great if this field were added to the sales post format. Gives no scope for misunderstanding assumed/implied testing warranty.

Hi everyone, I am writing this thread as a clarification regarding the problem that occurred due to a sale of mine, which eventually lead to the ban of my account.

I sold a graphics card, an Inno3d TwinX2 RTX 3070 to @asimh99 few months ago, which went dead a day after the day of delivery. There could have been several reasons behind the card dying, one of them possibly being the high temps.
I am from Siliguri, and at my place, the ambient temps on the card were ~45 idle, and ~85 peak, while at the customer's place, in Kashmir, it peaked above 90 degrees.
Can't blame anyone as...
