Questions
  1. What is your budget?
    • 1.3L-1.4L
  2. What is your existing hardware configuration (component name - component brand and model)
    • Mac for work
    • Old ASUS gaming laptop being used as sunshine host for Stardew Valley
  3. Which hardware will you be keeping (component name - component brand and model)
    • nil, since I don't have any lol
  4. Which hardware component are you looking to buy (component name). If you have already decided on a configuration then please mention the (component brand and model) as well, this will help us in fine tuning your requirement.
  5. Is this going to be your final configuration or you would be adding/upgrading a component in near future. If yes then please mention when and which component
    • No not planning for any major upgrades for at least 2-3 years
  6. Where will you buy this hardware? (Online/City/TE Dealer)
    • Prefer online
    • I live in south gujarat and can visit Mumbai if the price difference is significant
  7. What is your intended use for this PC/hardware
    • Gaming
    • Browsing
    • Sometimes full stack development, but I mainly use a mac for that so not a requirement
    • Sunshine host for remote gaming on tablet/tv
  8. Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them and the reason for your preference/dislike.
    • nil
  9. If you will be playing games then which type of games will you be playing?

  11. Are you looking to overclock?
    • No
  12. Which operating system do you intend to use with this configuration?
    • Windows 11 64 bit

I planned this config, although I can be considered a newbie when it comes to PC building so please feel free to criticise and give suggestions wherever you can

Thank you!

12 GB VRAM will not last for 2-3 years @ 1440p/4k and I would never recommend going for a 5070. Put in some more money and get a 9070 XT. If you dont want to increase cost get a 9070 non-XT. If you still want to go with nvidia the Founder's edition of 5070 is still available on STPL at 60k.

Get a different motherboard
Asus B650m Pro RS
MSI Pro B650 S
Asus B650M-HDV/M.2 at the minimum

You shouldn't get the 5070 unless you really need Nvidia for productivity tasks.
You can get RX 7900 XT for the same price. It has similar perfomance to 5070 and has 20GB Vram, enough for long term 1440p, and even 2K gaming.
As for the PSU
I would recommend to get 850W at least. Better to have some headroom for power spikes.
You can get either
MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 80+ Gold Fully Modular Power
Deepcool PN850M 850W 80+ Gold ATX 3.1 Fully Modular

Both are similar priced to the psu in your list and have similar rating in the psu tier list.

+1 to this on GPU. I have a 7900GRE & have seen VRAM usage cross 12GB with games like GoW Ragnarok & HFW at 4K, which the 5070 is capable of. By paying 70-72k for 9070XT, you get more raster performance, more VRAM, same RT performance but lose DLSS4 over 5070 but FSR4 is better than DLSS 3, so that helps.

Change SSD to SN770 at least & mobo to Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX for 2k extra, worth it for better VRMs & 3rd M.2 slot. PSU can be swapped for MSI A750GL.

First of all, thanks folks!

After everyone's suggestions here I've changed and few things, how does this build look?

Few points I wanted to add
- Should I invest a bit more in the cooler?
- I am not someone who needs absolute detailed graphics while gaming, I am fine with medium 1440/2k or even less in some cases, for eg I've played GTA V with low 1080 because I've mostly been a laptop gamer
- I want the build to be a bit small if possible, I prefer mid tower, does this case align with that? while keeping the technicals in check like airflow and cable management?
- With my current build do I need to buy additional case fans ? I think the case has 2 fans included, I would assume I need at least 2-3 more maybe? or if I change the air cooler with an AIO ?
- And lastly should I buy these parts online? Or should I visit mumbai to get these? (for context it'll cost me around 5k to visit and come back by road, there's going to be additional spends but I am considering it as a small trip lol, so I am fine with that)

Also just wanted to say that you guys don't have to answer any of these, I just appreciate all the help you guys have already done, thank you so much!

You can invest a bit more. If you want, you can get Arctic Freezer 36. Should cost around 3.4k

If that's the case, then you can save on the GPU. Something like 7800xt would be enough. If you can find 7900 GRE in stock around 52-54K, would be even better. In Nvidia, you can get RTX 4070. Similar rasterisation performance as 7800XT. A lot better in ray tracing. But only 12 GB Vram.

You would need more fans. Even if you get AIO, rest components would need airflow.

You can get better deals offline, also some bargaining, so would be worth to go there. Also a little trip is nice to have.

  1. AG400 is enough for R5 7600. In fact I'm using AK400 with 9800X3D (although undervolted).
  2. Your call on 9070XT vs 7800XT. Nothing in between makes sense as of now because of their pricing. 7800XT doesn't have FSR4 vs all RTX GPUs getting DLSS4. So in terms of upscaling, 7800XT will be much inferior to competition.
  3. Can go mATX, look at CM 301 Elite or Asus AP201 as a cabinet maybe, try to find mATX mobo. Check for cooler height & GPU clearance.
  4. H5 flow apprently doesn't have enough stock fans. Maybe look at Lian Li 207 if you can do good cable management & want ATX cabinet.
  5. Online, save time & money. PrimeABGB, Vedant, MD & PCStudio are good. Friend recently ordered parts from Computech, got it w/o issues.
