Good Friday choir at our church

My people are one of the numerous minority races in India and make up less than 0.1% of the population. We are all Christians living in our own state in a remote part of the North-East, namely Mizoram.

The link below is to a video of the youth choir in my local church performing this Good Friday. They sang a more upbeat song on Easter Sunday but it seems they haven't uploaded the video yet. Our youngest son plays lead guitar and sits right behind the conductor. His guitar solo starts a little after 2:50.

The sound is badly distorted as the whole thing was shot with a DSLR camera with its built-in microphone, about a dozen feet from the PA speaker.

Didn't understand a word but beautiful music and choir.
Not surprising that you didn't understand the words - it's in my language, Mizo. They sometimes sing English songs too.
Also props to you and your son for the guitar skills!
I used to have a rock band a long time ago. I sang and played lead guitar too.
Thanks for your kind words and thanks also to those who liked the post.

Not impossible but you need some skills with a good sound software to extract the desired output or simply delete the distortion.

Thanks again, everyone. I didn't expect my post to attract such interest and earn so many likes.

I was surprised when my son started showing an interest in music while he was in high school. Frankly, I didn't think he was the type. Some people are obsessed with speed in playing. While fast fingering is important, it's not the only important one and I tried to impress on my son to give equal attention to other aspects of musical value.

This is an early video of his (2011 or 2012) showing a bit of speed:

And here's a more recent one with a close friend of his in our locality:

These two are covers of compositions by famous guitarists.
