Got my First Seiko at 20!

Always wanted to get a Seiko watch, pulled the trigger last week after receiving the full-time offer on this beautiful Seiko 5 GMT (SSK035K1/Green Variant).

The watch looks stunning in person, the jubilee bracelet looks amazing with polish in the middle, the cyclops and green+gold color combination has me looking at it every 5 minutes!!

How did you settle on green? I've seen models before and sky blue or deeper always confused me. One day you like one and the next day the other.

It's a good problem to have :)

38k on Tata Cliq (41.5k - Icici offer), Ethos Bangalore had the black version @ 20% off (36k), but I didn't like the color. Not sure if ethos is not stocking Seiko cause there might be a refresh, or they plan on discontinuing Seikos altogether. All the branches barely had 6-8 seikos on stock and they won't tell if they will be restocking it in future or not.

When I started looking into this watch 2 years back, I only wanted the sky blue, but after seeing the green color, it just grew on me, and it felt unique to the Seiko 5 sport line-up, not a lot of brands have this color combination (Similar to the red dial on orient kamasu) . I was very close to getting the sky blue version, it looked great in person. But got the green instead :)
