@pika420 have you ensured that DHCP server is disabled in all your APs and any other devices except for NethSec?
Yeah, I have tried that, also asked in Forum haven't applied the fix they suggested yet

Off topic but what is your use case for this ? Most folks in TE want to avoid the ISPs DPI based blocking.
Nothing really, it's just nice to have feature

Aren't these Chinese brands? You can get mikrotik or grandstream with 10% price increase

No way to deviate the thread but wanted to give my opinion

Everything is a Chinese brand, I don't know which prices you looked at, but I've sold most of them in the end-of-the-year sale @ 3999/- still have a couple available but not at the same price anymore.

Also, you cannot get any Mikrotik or "whitelabelled" Grandstream 2.5G switches at this price point.

Self-hosted AdGuard lists the router instead of individual devices.
A little OT,

But this generally happens when you ask the router to use that adguard instance as DNS in WAN/interface settings.
Instead, only use the Adguard instance IP in DHCP settings. By doing so, you advertise to every device on the network to use that as DNS.
So when each device gets connected, they start using that IP as DNS.

You will have to disconnect and reconnect devices after setting it. Worked flawlessly for me with multiple routers (opnsense, opnwrt, pfsense, Dlink routers etc).

+1 to this.
I brought up a little AdGuard lxc last week to do network wide ad blocking and this is how I set it up.
You can even whitelist devices where you don’t want ad blocking. for example, the live tv features of my old Mi Tv just stop working if I enable Adblock on them, so I just whitelisted it in AdGuard Home.
