iOS Has anyone gotten warranty support for US imported iPhones?(esim only)

I have a 16 pro max I got from the US and was wondering if I should get applecare+. I checked with apple and can buy it but wanted to hear from someone who has actually gotten warranty support for esim only phones.

YES MY 14 pm got a white display after warranty was over the saket centre in delhi did it fo free without the bill
