Is this a kind of propaganda ? I saw a similar posting in another forum. 1TB drives cost 2.7-2.8k. So how come the 500GB drives are costing 4.5k??

Normally, when then introduce such speed upgrades, they also upgrade the speed of the existing plans. I have been upgraded from 512kbps to 1Mbps to 2Mbps for the freedom 1699 plan. So does this mean that I will be upgraded to 4Mbps as well? FUP on my plan is 30GB/100GB - 2Mbps/1Mbps/512kbps...
