Graphic Cards GPU pricing trends

Yeah, lets wait it out. Learned from my vendor here in Bangalore that Asus and Zotac cleared their excess inventory and MSI/Gigabyte still have old stock. Once that also clears, then there will be price drop across the board.

Let's hope so because there are a lot gamers in need of GPUs and are waiting for prices to drop.

Any idea about good used 20 series GPU prices right now?

I've waited enough and finally had some free time so played Watch Dog Legion on my 1060 3gb on my Samsung 4k TV, Lets not talk about the setting and the compromises I had to made to make it playable :D Still have couple of games on my playlist but waiting if and only if the prices come down else will simply play on reduced settings.

I am fine with waiting. My question was essentially - " how long will this wait be? any idea?"
We waited for 2 years (probably more). Wont hurt waiting a bit more. I would rather game on my current GPU for another year than paying too much and give in to ducking scalpers dressed as distributors.

anyways, my in-laws will be back from USA in two months time and I can have them get a 3080.

I would be ashamed of myself if after waiting for 2yrs I will have to pay scalper price. Unless something goes bad with this current card I am sticking with it.

Lol. I order it online, they put it in their bag. They dont even care what it is. I keep my home minister (you know how) happy, they are happy to help. :D

Why a used 20 Series when it is over 4 years old. Get a 3060 for 42k, it is good enough for 2k gaming and kind for 1080p gaming.
Have to disagree, it's not enough for 2K gaming at all. Sure if you wanna play pre 2021 games at 2K but not newer, that would be sub optimal. I would rather suggest 3080 for 2K gaming for future. 3060ti and 3070 both fall largely in 1080p high settings for future games. Currently can do well at 2K but not for long.

Depends on budgets again as I cannot afford 3080 or 3070ti so went with rx6600xt instead.

I agree, I'm just saying if anyone plans on 2K gaming for future games they certainly would want to play at high settings for which 3060 is not enough. Talk about 1080p medium high with that then it's OK.
I'm sure your expectations with 6600Xt won't be 2K high or 2K at all tbh. Old games sure... not new at 2K.

Even with new games at 2k I will pay at high settings not at ultra settings which can be played by rx6600xt right.

Colorful rtx 3080 advanced OC is now available for 78k everywhere. It is a pretty good card and that price is amazing. Good things are coming.

I hope colorful has enough stock to make others follow suite on price correction. Frauds take no time at all to increase price but to decrease, they take weeks and months.
