HELP !!- Interested in buying TWS for daily use - its all over the place with multiple deal options

Samsung buds FE is good for calls and can block ambient noises quite well. This feature is missing on higher end buds pro & pro 2. Same goes for other high end brands with only few exceptions.

Scroll to the right and listen to the pink noise & subway samples
I can attest to this. They are surprisingly good for phone calls, the other party doesn't complain when picking up calls in public. I got it from TATA CliQ for ₹5.5k a week back.

Question is whether the latest Buds 3 or 3 Pro is any better for voice quality?

The buds 3 series have a weird shape which might not be comfortable for some and the controls aren't that great as I have seen from the first impression videos.

I relative came around and I compared the Buds FE to her AirPods Pro. The AirPods Pro are more comfortable to wear and don't hurt your ears if you want to sleep with them in.

Now the controls on the Buds FE are fine. I didn't accidentally trigger them while adjusting the buds. The AirPods Pro's controls are fine as well, they use some force sensitive technology which you need to consciously trigger.

That being said, in my brief testing the ANC on the Buds FE seem to be on par to the AirPods Pro or even exceed it in some cases. Do note I was borrowing the AirPods Pro's so fit might not have been oh so perfect. I usually need large tips to create a good seal.

Basically the title, im getting some deals and want to grab for daily use

Sony xb700 refurbished for 1.5k
Sony Linkbuds wf-l900 - new with for 6k
Razer Hammerhead True Wireless X - 1.9k
or any other audiophile options or IEMs with probably a bluetooth adaptor from headphonezone or conceptkart
At the prices you mentioned take the xb700. Its cheap and decent for the price and if something happens you should be able to replace it easily. Imo its not smart to spend a lot on tws' as you can lose them easily. Also if you are gonna go to 7kish range would recommend the xm4's they are great. Owned them for sometime. The anc was superb.

The Buds FE have better call quality than the Buds 3 Pro. The Buds FE do a better job of blocking external sounds at a slight cost to your voice quality but you still remain intelligible. Whereas with these 'pro' variants they let more of the external noise in but your voice sounds better. Well, if noise outside is too much you get drowned out every single time and other noises can be distracting.

Sound guys have tested both but don't allow an table like rtings to compare. You have to open the review in separate pages and scroll down to the section 'How do the microphones sound like in the real world'

There are two tests of interest here. Office Conditions and Street conditions.

Now to see how well the Buds 3 do. Buds 2 weren't great in this regard

By xm4's I presume you mean the sony's. ANC and sound quality might be good but not call quality in a noisy environment. The xm5s are better for that

Where do you find them for 7k though? Or do you mean second hand

I meant second hand but in good quality. Found the anc to be very good. Didnt try calls in it so cant make a comment. But have the wf1000xm4's too and their call quality has been very good.

Checking with a seal test can help

The idea is the 50Hz & 500 Hz tones should sound equally loud.

You can either play the files off the website or download the alternating and simultaneous audio files for local testing.

My testing with the buds live which is open had the 50Hz tone much softer which is expected

With the buds pro the difference was less. However the 500Hz tone was still slightly louder. When I switched ANC on the two tones sounded closer.

Got Sony xb700 refurbished and its going well to be honest, i havent used much but as always mic is just okay.
Im not i can find xm4 for 7k anywhere, that would have been a good deal though.
Also btw i bought another headphones for travel Sony WH-1000XM3 for 5k though it was 4 years old and out of warranty but was in completely new condition with carry case.
Currently eyeing a pair of Sony Linkbuds wf-l900 getting a deal for 3.5k with warranty left and sealed box unit, im not sure about this yet though

Would recomend the Samsung galaxy buds pro 2.

If you're confused, you can refer to TheSoundGuys website. They offer very detailed comparisons as well as reviews.
