I dont usually drink peaty. Last one I had was Lagavulin 16 many years ago. Dont know Ardberg but the friend who wanted this said its less peaty than Ardberg. definitely less than Lagavulin if my memory serves right. Its also sweeter though. sweeter than regular whiskys I drink. Also, I drink straight but this one i had on the rocks.

try mezcal if you can find. mezcal is considered what we call tharra, but recently they started making them for export and some of them are really good. usually stronger than tequila. Also, make a margarita with fresh fruit and you will become a fan.

Last time I had drink, it was almost a decade ago. I remember I didn't like Blender's pride back then.
Bacardi white rum, smirn off were my regulars. along with Signature and Royal Stag..
Today I "had to" visit a store and I see so many new brands coming up..
 
vat 69, teachers, blackdog, oldmonk come to my mind. btw, anyone know a good place in hyderabad where you can find single malts and other imports?
