Still have this feeling that Sri Lanka, Maldives, etc. are eking out monies from India and paying it to China.
Indian govt. might've found that keeping their resources in our control only is going to help generating monies from such countries. Which is the right approach because these kind of countries tend to be thankless in the long run.

It seems Israel are preparing for an Iranian retaliation. They are short on iron dome missiles so the Americans have helped with their THAAD outer atmospheric interceptors. A battery regiment of THAAD comes with 95 US personnel.
I thought it was the arrow 3 missiles that handled outer atmospheric intercepts. Maybe those are the ones they are short of. The outer atmosphere intercepts are spectacular to see. Very short in duration if you're lucky to catch them on camera.
The Israeli agreement with the Americans is no strikes on nuclear or oil infrastructure. This means anything regime or military related is kosher.
Oh and did I mention betting odds in Trumps favour have risen dramatically since a week now

Irondome was never ever designed to handle ballistic missiles, its only designed to handle crude slow moving home made rockets and mortars.
Now that Israel will have to deal with Irans Ballistic missile. They can use US made patriot PAC-3, this one works sometimes and most of the other times it doesn't kill the target. Its probability of kill is less than even the S300. The earlier versions like PAC-1/2 couldn't even intercept Saddam Scud missiles during 1st gulf war.
So Israel started development of David Sling, this system can take on cruise missles and ballistic missiles below the atmosphere equivalent to PAC-3 theoretically.
While ballistic missles traveling from 1000s of kms away re enter the atmosphere, Israel needs the Thaad for Exoatmospheric kill and it can even do a endoatmospheric kill and also they have the Arrow 3 which has intercepted targets from last months Iranian attacks.
These interceptors are expensive and Israel wants to preserve Arrow 3 for ICBM class or Iran or Pakistan longest range missiles.
With Thaad Uncle sam will foot the bill and it will also supplement Arrow 2 and David Sling.

Iron dome was funded by the US in exchange for ToT. As usual they got a great deal. Only took two years to develop after the need was identified during the 2006 war in Lebanon.

Israel handled 75% of the projectiles in April. Cruise was handled by the US, drones by the IAF and the 50 odd icbms by Arrow 3.This is why I think they are short on Arrow 3.

After the pros failed to find him, a bunch of trainees run into him by luck. They didn't know it was him until they returned the day after to inspect the building they fired a tank round at.
All this time we were told he would surround himself with hostages. But it was just him and two bodyguards. And he was alone when the drone they sent identified somebody was on the second floor.
Where are the hostages? Israel has announced immunity to anyone who hands them over.

Escape to where though? The philadelphi corridor was covered so not that way to Egypt. Also we were told he would be in the tunnels but he was found on the second floor of a building. Clearly he was on the move to the next hide buy got unlucky. He had stopped communicating through the usual channels after this pager attack so coordination would have been rudimentary and likely failed to alert him of danger nearby.
