I am worried about out data collection especially on SMS with OTPs. If any of you share your experience on the privacy side, i am jump in

Truecaller's privacy policy has drastically improved over the years. They used to upload contacts to their server for data at one point, but not anymore. You can disable smart SMS and also avoid giving SMS permission to the app.
