So this is one of those 'probably should have posted before doing it' but you should know I'm the jump first and look later type.

Anyway, I recently bought and installed a 'UV glass protector' on my phone. Basically tempered glass that sticks on to the screen with UV cured glue.

Has anyone used this here? Any issues? I'm particularly concerned about how to peel it off and whether it will damage the screen. (Yah I did do a basic bit of searching and what results I saw, did not mention any screen damage.) But still posting here for 'real' reviews.

So, anyone had any personal experience with one? Do sound off.

As @blr_p suggested, IPA is the best way to remove the UV glue.
The UV screen protectors are not worth it. They can damage components if the glue seeps through and don't offer any protection at all compared to tempered glasses on flat screens.

If you have a curved display phone, it is a given that you have to be generally more careful when handling it as the options to protect its screen are more scarce. I usually stick with a simple screen guard to avoid scratches and I rock an old-fashioned leather flip cover to keep my screen relatively safe in case of accidental drops.

WorthWrap on Instagram is a good store if you have a model with few options available in online marketplaces. They custom cut and send screen guards on demand.
 
One has to be sure that the glue does not overflow and get into crevices or earpiece/mic. I had one installed myself over curved screen of Galaxy S9+ and it performed okay with cautious use. The thing is, good ones are not that cheap and you really can't do anything to fix, once the sides/borders start to detach. In short, avoid them if you can.

What concentration of IPA is safe? 99% or less? I've got a broken UV screen protector on my curved screen but worried about removing it.

I am currently using one of the matte variants on my phone. I changed the last protector after 4 months of usage (also from WorthWrap) because it started peeling off from the edges—pretty decent longevity given the price and lack of other options for Honor accessories in the market. Functions great though, have played FPS games on the matte protector as well, and no issues with touch detection or brightness whatsoever.

Such brands are a hit or miss in my opinion, sometimes you get what you order, and other times you don't. I had no other options for my Honor device so I went with it and it serves my purpose. It's ₹200 for the protector iirc so taking a chance and ordering one on COD makes sense regardless.

This is the current matte protector from WorthWrap, I applied it around 50 days ago but 'effed up on the top corner by applying too much pressure while dissipating the air bubbles so it curls the other way... T_T
