Guys I have always used MNk for playing games on my pc and will mostly be playing fps games like apex legends . I will play on pc and this is the first time I will be buying controller . Please suggest a good controller which can be connected to pc both via wired and wireless . I know controller can be connected wirelessly via Bluetooth but is that recommended for fast paced fps games that I don’t know . Please help

For fps usually go with keyboard and mouse. And for controler I prefer ps4/5 controller but xbox controller is usually used in west games

I would not recommend playing fps games with controller. Mouse and keyboards are better for that. For controller official xbox controller is the best,

Connects to any blutooth, I use usb A to C type. U will enjoy PS exclusive games on PC, as full haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are supported.
Haptics and adaptive triggers work in WIRED mode only.

Otherwise all other function work properly with Bluetooth.

I still prefer the Xbox controller for playing on windows.

Dualsense for ps ported pc games have all features haptic & triggers. The experience is amazing. Xbox is good but battery changing is shit.

There are other controllers out there other than the standard Xbox and PS ones. One of them which I found which is good is 8bitdo. They make controllers in both Xbox and PS layouts. They recently launched the 8bitdo Ultimate 2C. I have got one from bangggod and it works flawlessly. Has 2.4ghz and bluetooth and there is also a wired version available. They have hall effect joysticks and triggers so they have a good feedback. So give it a try if you're able to

Great controller. Hall effect sticks and triggers, extra set of buttons, comes with 2.4Ghz dongle and somehow has a lower input latency than even the Xbox controller with the official adapter. Its value proposition is so strong that it hardly makes sense anymore to buy a first-party controller for PC gaming. Get this if you can, OP.

Here's Linus vouching for it -

8Bitdo Ultimate 2C Wireless Controller for Windows PC and Android with 1000Hz Polling Rate Hall Effect Joysticks and Hall Triggers and Remappable L4/R4 Bumpers - Orange green @ 2.4k
OR
GameSir G7 SE Xbox Wired Controller - Dynamic Blue @ 3.1k

Apex Legends on a controller has a pretty good advantage. If you can force yourself to learn playing on a controller its like a aim bot. Think it was revealed that 80% of players on PC in higher diamond, master and pred lobbies use a controller. Imperial Hall switched to controller just to get the advantage of using the controller aim assist. Watching Genburten play apex on controller makes anyone want to try it. I tried controller but I am too used to MnK.

8bitdo 2C is a great controller with Hall effect sensors. Xbox controllers are great as well.

No reason to go for the GameSir imo. It launched back when hall effects were just starting to appear in cheap controllers, hence the hype around it. But these days you can do a lot better, even from GameSir themselves, eg Nova Lite. It is/was a competitor to the Ultimate C('s wired version), which the 2C is an improvement over.

Go with the 2C.
